I've been running Win2k with the nvidia 3.78 drivers for my Guillemot TNT2 since they came out and have not crashed once, been running UT and Q3 with no problems. Completely removed Win98 off my system last weekend because game performance between 2000 and 98 is almost identical on my system and I hadnt used 98 in a month or more. Celeron 500 o/ced to 563 Abit BH6 384 meg of RAM Guillemot TNT2(non-ultra running at 155/183)

When I try to run some setup or DOS based programs I get a 16 bit Subsystem error that states: SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers. VDD. Virtual Device Drive format in the registry is invalid. Then I can either Close or Ignore, it seems to work if I ignore but the error is getting annoying. Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated

I have an external parallel zip drive, I installed the Iomegaware and drivers for win2k and i'm able to use the drive but if I try to save a file directly to the drive it locks my computer up, have to hit restart. I am able to copy files from my hdd to the zip drive tho. My system: Celeron 500 oced to 563 Abit BH6 256 meg RAM Guillemot TNT2 Adaptec 2930c SCSI card SBLive Linksys LNE10/100 NIC

My copy of Nero started doing the same exact thing, load it up and it just reboots teh computer. I have the newest ASPI drivers installed, tried installing an older version of Nero but still does the same thing... gonna see if I can find 4.0.7.5 and see if it works.

Nvidia's 3.78 drivers and Win2k? Did they work for ya?
Benderass replied to Quantus's topic in Hardware
The 3.78 drivers are working fine on my system, Abit BH6 Celeron 500 o/ced to 563, and Xentor TNT2... took them through their paces playing Unreal Tournament, Quake2, HalfLife and all worked fine. -
I have the same scanner and have been trying for close to a month to get it working in win2k... think your just gonna have to wait till Visioneer releases win2k drivers for it

I just installed Liveware3 under Win2k 2195. As per the instructions posted on this website. Everything worked, except that when I try to load the Mixer I get an error stating: CTSURMIX.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. Any help fixing this problem will be greatly appreciated.
