I think you have to go into your system properties (right click My Computer, go to properties). In the system properties, go to the last tab and hit the button labeled Environment Variables. I believe the smp switch is in there. Just change the number of processors to 2 instead of 1. At least I 'think' that's how you do it.

It may be that the game just won't work with 2000. The game is kind of shabby in it's contruction as it is. What kind of video card are you using?

I have 256 megs on a PII-450 running Advanced Server and it kicks ass. On a clean install with server setup bypassed (minimal services running) Microsoft is only sapping about 55 MB. Not to shabby. So I'd say you'd probably squeek by with 64 MB, but 128 will give you optimal performance for standard (gaming) use.

Those tabs have never been in the w2k drivers.

Obviously he didn't do it for attention. I think he's just sitting back laughing at all the people who blow up over nothing. It's pretty funny if you ask me. Especially since my Live and every other piece of hardware (except my Hollywood+) work fine.
