I have win2k pro and my friend has win98. We tried to establish modem connection via dial-in feature in win2k, but ( Modems get connected, some data exchange occurs (probably, login and password transmitting), but after a few seconds hangup occurs. I tried static and dynamic IP Address, but... What can it be?

I need to check RAM for errors. Any ideas?

Such tool as ndiags?...

I don't have such option in my bios (MOBO Gigabyte 6BA). Maybe, any util?
