Ok for some lame reason since I repaired my Win2k using the install disk my floppy drive won't ever refresh the files. If I insert another disk and refresh the window with F5 or close the listing in A:\ and reopen it it will still list the same files as the ones in the first floppy i've inserted since bootup. Then, I tried something. I thought that it was just my os being stupid so I saved a file to the A:\ even though the file listing wasn't correct, and you know what it did? It made a f*cking duplicate of the first disk and erased all my homework off the second disk. Ahhhhh someone please help. I hate having to reboot my system to pop in a new disk.

I used to have that problem until I figured out it was a stupid thing in my case. In my case it was me not setting the CPU voltage high enough. For some reason where I live depending on season change I have to bump up CPU voltage to compansate for the heat or humidity I guess. In summer I have to bump my voltage up .20, but in winter I can lower the voltage .20. Hope this helps

I used to have the same problem of only 5.13 drivers working, but I figured out why I couldn't use the newer drivers. The problem was that I had a setting in my MOBO BIOS that wouldn't let me continue with the boot. I have an ABit BX6/-R2 they both have this problem, and the setting that I had was AGPCLK/CPUCLK set at 1/1. The proper setting is 2/3 for all drivers after 5.13. I hope this helps

Windows 2000 version 2195free I think isn't letting me in. Windows will bootup but then when the user log in screen pops up and I log in it pops up a screen saying "The system connot log on now because the doman is not available." I click ok to repeat the process of having this screen popup and not allowing me into windows. This all started when I disabled my LAN connection, but that didn't cause the problem. After I disabled my LAN connection a few days later I downloaded and installed the IE5.5beta and Internet tools pack off the windows update website. The one that shows up in the start menu. Someone please help me with my problem, msn.com and microsoft.com have no help available to me because I have to pay for service. What BULL.

I was on my brothers computer, but I have fixed the problem with my computer with using the repair option that comes with the Win2k cd, but before I did this I removed all hardware that wasn't needed for an install. What I actually did was use the install clean copy because my repair files got corrupted. It then asked me to define settings again, I then found out that I had doman set instead of workgroup, and I kicked my computer(not really).
