Still, my favorite build of win9x was first edition(4.10.1998.6), fav beta build was 4.10.1691 RC0, yea it had a few bugs, but i used it for a long time until i got the final version.

i think the duron has a lot of potential and great performance for the price, if i wasn't such a die-hard Intel fan, i'd switch from a Celemine to a Duron.

i use PowerDVD 3.0 Full here since i can't use my Hollywood plus in Windows XP yet. I hate software players though.

man, off the top of my head, i dunno, it could be anything, try removing all non-essential hardware (i.e. Sound Card, Modem, etc.) and continuing the install. Try running setup.exe with different switches (type: "setup /?" for a list) for example, i always run 9x setups with the switch "/is" just because i hate having it scan a disc that i already know is perfectly fine. Brain - i'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but isn't that what i said (in less words)? Just wondering, i tired, i may have read it wrong.

if all of this is true, then the card looks promising, Brian's statement that the gf 2 ultra is out makes me think of 3dfx's probelms with not getting the cards out in time to compete with the latest/greatest competitors like ATI and nVidia, and we saw what happened to 3dfx. Personally i hope the card does well, i'd like to see some variety in the market, not too much, but enough to make other companies race to make the best vid card. Of course, i'll always be a "die-hard" nVidia fan.

i got an abit vh6, uses the 686a southbridge, i believe that is what causes studdering in some games, other than that i have had no real problems with it like lockups, i guess i'm lucky.

Go ahead, contact Phillipp or SHS, but know this, if you ban me, it would mean that you would have to ban more than half of the registered members.....thats one hell of a blocked IP list. I've tried calling "cease-fires" to flame wars, but it doesn't work, so get rid of me, it'll still be here, all of the flame wars, just as if i had never left. Nuff' Said.
