my guess is that with releases of service packs and such, more support for games, apps, etc.. will be a possibility.

i've heard lotsa people complaining that the athons and duron het that hot, seems odd for me since my cpu doesn't get that high, try to keep it at no higher than 110 or so and you should be fine, dunnni though, cause i'm also high.

oh, i haven't check up on it lately, but, are there any bios upgrades for the BP6....maybe so it'll support FCPGA 600+ Celemines?? I got it down in the basement left over from my dual processor eXPerience, (Celly 2*400@550, 384mb ram, geforce 256...etc). I wanted to know if the little guy has a future, he just sits in the basement collecting dust inside his static bag.

i hate to say it, but the closest i got to a VP6 was at a computer show/sale when i got to hold it and caress the socket's. Sweeet Board...man, i could have just ran out of the place with it....no one would have caught me.

there WILL be a crack for the activation thingy. who cares what MS does people, it has its bad sides, and it has its good sides, everything gets hacked/cracked/ripped eventually so just give it time.

i'm have a bottleneck in my system or something with Win2k, i get around 3400 in Windows 98SE and Windows ME is about the same. in Win2k Pro i get around 1700-2000, anyone know why?

ok, i haven't use 2428 yet, i remember when i had 2257 installed, it was so slow and hogging ram that i couldn't stand it, 2428 isn't like that?
