You people are still waisting your time with win2k.I'm finally back with 98 and i haven't had much problems.The voodoo2 drivers for my card work great.I must admit that win2k doesnt crash as much but win98 loads faster and i can enjoy all my games.

Yea your right actually win2k is a ***** and my nephew lost my copy of win98 and i can't switch back!! sh*T!!!

I'm buying a new computer and i need to know whats the best i can get for 2 grands wothout incompatibilities an 3dfx related products

I dont really think that you should switch man win2k is buggy and has lots of incompatilities you might have upgrade. you should have at least a 350mhz and 128mb ram and a nvidia card because they actually have drivers for their cards unlike f*cking 3dfx.Anyways its just my opinion.

I wouldnt say it suxx Awaxx im still keeping my copy for the new computer im buying since i won't be running any games on it.

whats the point of win2k if you cant run programs without getting "**** has generated errors and will be closed" and waiting decades for 3dfx to release drivers or buy another monitor if you dont have one and having to buy another sound card.I wouldnt need to be here everyday asking how to fix problems and incompatibilities. Win2k is very buggy and and i can't run 1/2 of the software i purchased.I think i'll stick with win98.

Tell me if the following is right: 1.format C: /s in command prompt 2.reboot 3.insert win98 boot disk 4.mun fdisk 5.delete NTFS partition(not really sure how to do this one) 6.create fat partition 7.reboot with cdrom support 8.install 98 Win2k: 1. choose make a new installation D:\windows 2.follow instructions to complete install (then what do i do to be able to use both? does it ask at startup?)

I've recently installed Win2k and would like to install and run win98 too.I have one 4gig drive that i partitioned( C: 1.99gigs and D:1.72gigs). I want to know how to install win98 on D: and have win2k on my C: drive.I would like a step by step explanation of how to do it(i read a tutorial but couldnt understand) Thank you in advance.

I dont get it. according to some people official drivers for the voodoo2 were supposed to be available Jan 31st and some people said feb 17. What about the drivers that are not WHQL certified? Are they going to support Direct3d?? When are those supposed to be available???

Im running a voodoo 2 with unofficial drivers(glice and opengl icd but no d3d) and everytime i load SOF demo i get: Unable to load Opengl Environment (something like that) Any ideas why?? Thank you in Advance, LSD

I ran Disc Juggler and it says: "No Compatible Destination Drives Found" and I get "No device Driver Found" in Mp3 CD Maker but it can still read cds. -Thank You in Advance

After the Installation i get this dialog saying that its missing some kind of file. Anyone have any idea how to get it to work? Thank You in advance,

Glide and OpenGL are working thanks to Anthony Toste's Drivers but what about Direct 3D? And anyone know when Official Drivers are coming out?
