The MerceD

My USB zipdrive works fine in win2k when I startup as usual. The problem comes when I hibernate. When I start up my computer after hibernating windows can´t find the zipdrive, I have to reebot one more time, then I works. Any ideas are welcome! ------------------ The MerceD has you... If I unplug and replug windows locks up. No, I haven´t installed the software because it didn´t work under win2k. Do you know if Iomega have released any new software?

open the "Folder options", klick on "View". There you will find an option called "Show My Documents on desktop" or something like that. Tried that? ------------------ The MerceD has you... Operating systems on my computer right now: Windows 2000 Professional Windows 98 (some really old version) I love win2k, it never crash, and it´s almost perfect. Win98 is not good. I have tried win98se and windows millennium but they are worse than the old 98. That´s why I run the old 98 today. Perhaps, when windows millennium becomes beta 3 or release candidate, it will be better, but right now nothing beats windows NT, and I don´t think anything will. The NT kernel is so great, it improves everything compared with 98/millennium. Everything, all games and everything runs perfect under win2k. I have one small problem. If I´m connected to the internet and start to print, ithe internet connection is disconnected. OK, this is not a big problem, but I really want it to be changed. In explorer 4 and win98 the adress, when you typed an internet adress in the Adress-bar explorer completed the adress for you by filling in the letters that was missing. Now, in explorer 5 and win2k it works different. Now the combobar scrolls down with the matching adresses. I havegot a Hewlet Packard DeskJet 720C. It works under win2k, and it prints text pretty well. When it comes to pictures it does not work quite as well. I downloaded the drivers from win2kbox.cjb.net. I installed just as the instructions told me. When I started my computer with the new drivers everything got ****ed up. Windows locked after 30 seconds and NOTHING worked! I tried and tried and changed settings and averything I could think of, but the **** didn´t work!!! I solved the problem with removing everything graphic related, repared my win2k installation and installed the old drivers.
