I am having a heck of a problem with IE when I go to download a file the option to open a file if it is a zip file is grayed out. What could have caused this and how might it be fixed.

Quote: Does anyone know if you can connect using a non-XP box in any way, shape or form? I am running Win2k here at the office and would love to be able to ditch VNC!! Please let me know! On your WinXP CD under I thank support look for MSRDPCLI.EXE you can then use that to install the client on a system, I have a Win98 (blah) box I use it on to connect my XP box at home. Works just fine

By chance does any one happen to know what port Remote Desktop Connection is used on? Weehooo shortly after I figed it out 3389

They are there, I didn't install the win2k drivers I just used the one from the update and DX and opengl work nice, but there is no glide

I for one think nVidia should make or hire someone to or let MS do the driver as a show of good faith, at this point I sure don't wanna buy into a company that with such an addatude. Right now a Kyro II based card is sounding much better since I need something cheap and half way good for XP, Anyway with that said anyone tryed RC1 with a V3 and had any workings?

If you go into Usser Accounts and change the login type from the welcome screen back to the classic style you get the nice handy box with lock comp log off and all that fun stuff like in win2k by pressing CTRL ALT DEl
-
run msconfig and remove it from the startup
-
look from a file called appcomp it should be in the root of your win dir
-
The small file browse that comes up say when you are looking for a new song from within winamp (it's in other places also) has the huge left menu with like desktop my comp buttons and so on, how does one go about removing this blasted thing? Thanks

http://www.realtimesoft.com/multimon/ has a bit about ICQ in the FAQ, it's a bit tricky to pull off and it doesn't work all that great but you can sometimez get it over to the 2nd monitor
