I saw you mention down here that you had installed udma 66 drivers (highpoint) for win2k. Did you see much performance increases with these drivers over the drivers installed off of the win2k CD? -Q

I have a question regarding win2k and directx. I know under win98, the suggestion was to reinstall directx whenever you modified drivers for your video card and/or sound card. Does this still apply to win2k? -Q

I'm running win2k and finally was successful in installing the Nvidia 3.69 drivers for my non-ultra tnt2 card. But...the only issue I have now is that most of my games are SO dark (this was the case with previous TNT/TNT2 card drivers as well). The windows desktop seems to be just fine, but when I enter UT or C&C Tiberian Sun, everything is so dark. Has anyone found a solution or know of a gamma/brightness/contrast tool that solves this problem under win2k. Win98 is just fine....modified the gamma setting slightly under win98 and my games work there just fine. Thanks... -Q
