I have P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo3 2000 (OC'd to 175MHz), Win2K, and Diamond MX300. BZ2 runs for me for like 3 mins starting from the first mission and then when it gets to a certain point, teh game crashes with a address violation. Also, like 98% of all my keys on the keyboard don't work. I believe activision is working on a native win2k support.

I have P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo3, 56K MODEM, Diamond MX300, and a Adaptec SCSI 2906 card, 1 CDROM(IDE), 1 CD Burner(SCSI). I am running win2k. My system runs all fine but then when I powered off my system, disconnected my SCSI burner(the only SCSI device in my system), and powered up the system again, upon loading win2k, like at the nice GUI screen, it gave me a BSOD saying something like this: X_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED it told me to reboot if its the first time i saw this error, and when i rebooted, it still came back. Then the message goes on saying to disable my motherboard cache stuff and like things like shadowing. I have all those disabled. Still won't work, until one day today, i powered up my system again, and woohoo!, no BSOD. Anyone know why the hell it does this?

Hello! Thanks for replying..i just unplugged the SCSI cable from the back of the SCSI Burner and left one end of the cable attached to the SCSI card and left the other end unattached! When I booted up, got a BSOD. When I reconnected the cable to the SCSI Burner, no BSOD. What is wrong? Are you saying I have to "terminate" the SCSI card as well? so therefore, disconnect the SCSI ribbon from the SCSI cable as well?

"mod-numknown == max_models" What does this mean in Opposing Forces? I get this error when usually I attempt a "Loading..." message in Opposing Forces. Sometimes, it pops up, the other times it sucessfully loads the game on to the next episode. I have Win2K 2195, V3 2000 (using 3dfx's latest beta), P3-500, 128MB, with Diamond MX300, with a3d enabled but i don't think i have the a3d driveres installed right so it said it failed to initialized. Anyone ?

Wierd distorted sound problem in Q3A!?!??! Just bought me a fresh copy of Q3A. The sound is messed up. It's like a loud humming vibrating noise. When I walk around in the game, it gets worse. When I fire, it gets worse too. For some reason, this happens with every level. I'm running the latest win2k with the latest v3's 2000 control panel 1-26-00 driver with my sound card drivers all up to date. No problems at all with any other hardware software except Q3A has a wierd distorted vibrating noise. Anyone help? thanks.

Got P3-500, 128MB, Voodoo 2000, Windows2000 (2195) running Opposing Forces at resolutions 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768. I have not updated Opposing Forces to the latest one. It is version 1.00.05 or something. Every 10 to 15 mins or so, upon arriving at a "loading..." screen, it crashes. But luckily, i saved a game just right before that, so when i went back into the game, it loaded properly and i was able to advance on. the error message comes up in a box, while still in the opposing forces main menu and says something about mod whatever is messed up or something. anyone know how to work around?

Anyone have a update for EZ CD Creator 4.0 to 4.1 or something? I am using 4.0 and sometimes I get coasters like Track Following Error. I get no problems with Nero but somebody said that Adaptec released a patch for it and it defitnitley fixed that issue.

Yeah, Nero 4.0.7.5 has problems with NTFS unfortunately. But the error only keeps coming up when you have the file browser open because it refreshes the file browser every 20 seconds to 2 mins. I am running the Win2K with the FAT32 partition and the reason why I am using fat32 is because of that error with Nero. Now, I don't get that error message in Nero any more because I'm running FAT32. So if you hate it, just convert to FAT32 instead of NTFS.
