Hi Guys, I noticed something very strange. With a clean reboot, I can play games perfectly. Though if I log off and start a game, a blue screen of death comes up with "IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL". This happens with Nvidia beta drivers (7x,11x,12x) but the official 6.50 works good as far as I remember. Currently I have tried 11.01, 12.00, 12.20. All do the same thing. I have not got SP2. Any thought on this? ARC

Hi Guys, I have an Altac Lansing Speaker System (4 Speakers) with SB Live! Now the problem is that Windows 2000 default device driver for SB Live! only make the front speaker working. No sound in the rear ones. This happens even if I choose Quad Speakers in the sound setup. Though Live ware makes it possible to use all four speakers. But I am not happy with Liveware!. I do not want it in my system. I want to get the speakers working without the software. Is there any way. ARC

Well the only thing I think is missing files / Bad Registry or No CD Patches, I believe... Look into the registry. Make sure you have a full install. Or post your registry here to further investigation. ARC

Well, you dont need to change drivers. The problem is within in NBA. What I found is this: Change your option! Change Resolution, and change stuff around. Then Play one game and then, it will be all good forever.. It does this only time, on the very first game. ARC

Wow! That's interesting... I had no luck with that game until very recently after the Whistler Tooklit, But I guess that Toolkit is now integrated into Service Pack 2. I believe that you installed Service Pack 2 and still having problem. Well I try finding it out. ARC

Hi Guys, I found how to make it no CD. Here is how: Run regedit Go to HKLM\Software\EA Sports\NBA Live 20001\ Change Installed from to .\ or leave it empty. The game will run. Though there is still one problem. The Game gets stuck. Try it and let me know. Thanks...

Well Guys that Posion Message was also in my Inetpub Directory. Then I deleted the files from each of the Inetpub subdirectories. After two three days they reappeared again. I deleted again. Then I updated windows from windowsupdate and now it is sound. Are there any other security measures to be taken. Thanks ARC
