Well you can use either QfixApps or RunCompat.. I use runcompat and just click on win98 and browse to the files of nba or superbike. One thing I should tell is I am using a cracked exe from Gamecopyworold. ARC

Hi Dosfreak, Good Work... Though one thing is missing. The file that says "Already applied fixes" has the list of all the latest games. I tried to run NBA 2001 and some other and found it didnt work without applying the fix using QfixApps. Please make a reg file of this reg directory. I think this contains all fixes. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\AppCompatibility\ ARC

I would certainly like to download it. I presented this idea a month ago and nobody listened. Well, if you could just send the act.exe file in the whistler beta cd, I think that would be enough. That contains the latest patches in it and I guess you dont have to do anything yourself. ARC

With the March Updates, Microsoft has added Compatibility modes for win2k as they are in whistler. There you go! Every other game and application would be working in Win2k. Miku

Dont format your computer every month. I have been using Win2k in my computer installed since 9 months and haven't had a problem. Dont install betas.. They are no good

I even know that there is a way to integrate other programs such WMP7 and Messenger, DirectX 8. But dont know how to do it. If anybody know, please do reply back ARC

Hi Guys, This suddenly happened to my computer today. All the icons lost colors and now clock ugly (256 colors)... My computer is set up in 16bit colors and i have tried 32bit too. I have tried to check and uncheck the "Show icon using all possible..." setting in Display Properties but no GO. I tried changing the registry value in Hkey_Local User\Control\Desktop to 24 and 16 but it doesnt affect anthing. I have tried program like microangelo and eicons but they are useless too. I cant get back the colors of my icons. Please help. Thanks ARC

Well, Make a shorcut to game or application, you want to run. Right Click and go to properties. You will see a compatibility Tab. Choose Windows 95... ARC

Well I know 98 shell is different, but XP and 2000 have a similar shell. So If I replace my shell with XP shell32.dll, do you think all my icons will change to the new ones? ARC
