Hi Guys, I have keyboard with Power, Sleep and Wake buttons. In Power option, only two buttons are listed. One is Sleep and Other is power, though there seems to be space for three of em'. I have set Sleep to Standby, Power to Hibernate. I want to utilize the third one. How can I do that? ARC

well first thing you should do is turn off automatic rebooting on unrecoverable errors. Go to System Properties>Advanced>Startup & Recovery>check off "Automatic Reboot" Then when you get an error, report it. Secondly I had this same problem. My motherboard was defective. Try getting the latest BIOS. That is all I can suggest @ this point with that info. ARC

All I am trying to say is that EA is the winner in this compatibility drama. Why is Microsoft providing support and patches for existing games with ACT and all other stuff. Why are they implementing Emulation Mode in Whistler? It seems that they have to change their OS to meet EA's gaming demands. Well that is what my point is. EA is not going to support Windows 2000 ever.However Microsoft will try provide patches for windows to fix these gaming problems... ARC

Guys, This is not the problem. All those games including TP2001... would work perfectly fine. But there is some problem with the coding of Superbikes and Tiger Woods. The ContextHandle method is not found in Kernel of Win2k. Maybe Microsoft will make that available through ACT. Fifa 2001, and all thos games can be played using emulation mode. You can use ACT(from Microsoft) to do that. Thanks ARC

You are probably using Win98SE This happened to me a year ago when i was on 98. Just download the supplement shutdown patch from windowsupdate

Hi, I am using Twinview in Windows 2000 with my Geforce 2 MX. My TV-NTSC shows the picture and everything is perfect. But the screen is not full. It has black border on left and right sides. Hi, I have an Asus 7100T (Geforce2 MX) with Intel 440BX. In 3dmark, the 32 mb texture test doens't work well. It just shows one frame of it and continue testing. I Have 6.31 drivers with DX8. Secondly in DX8, I cant test agp texturing.. it gives the following error. creating agp surface failed..@ 41... I tried it on my previous motherbaord with via chipset but same problem. Hi, I am having big problems with Win2k. I can only use explorer.. I open OE .. and click on new message it says "Insufficient memory" Even MSN Messenger doesn't work.. Hi Guys, I have Whistler 2296 Professional. Everything seems fine except the hibernate feature. It hibernates and loads loads the hibernate file and i am back to my desktop but... it unplugs my ISA card somehow. there is green arrow icon in the system tray that says you should unplug (my lan card) by clicking this icon. Well when I do that it unistall my lan card........ This doesn't happen in Windows 2000. Works perfectly fine. Why is it happening here.... ARC
