How to enable Auto Login? It asks for password every time. Tried turning the welcome page off, but didn't work. It went back to the Win2k Dialog Box. 3. When starting, on the Screen "Applying Computer Settings", it takes approx. 1 min. How to minimize that. Reply back. Thanks.

Hi, I have got Win2k/Whistler on C without any partition using the same program files. I have installed Encarta in Win2k, but when I try to install it in Whistler, it says, it the folder already exist, choose a different folder. But how can i install it into the same folder to save diskspace. ARC

Guys, Just noticed that IE Scroll Bars do not take on the skin. The Scroll bars in my computer and looks nice but as soon as I change to Internet Explorer. It changes back to the old windows one. Did they forgot to change it? ARC

Well, I also loaded up Philips Drivers for my monitors but no change. Same problem. But one thing is also sure, it is not a problem with Geforce Drivers since, it doesn't work software mode too. ARC

Well I tried that but it doesn't work. When I uninstall my adpater and restart. Then I go to Display Properties > Advanced >Monitor Tab>... I cannot clickon properties. It is grayed out. Then it asks me that is has detected Geforce 2 MX. I install the drivers and then I can choose Plug & Play. Well I restarted but it doesn't work . Any more suggestions. ARC

Hi, I have VIA AGP 4X chipset w Viper II on Windows 2000. I have got the latest updates including (via 4 in 1), MS VIA Patch, AMD MS Patch. I cant get AGP 4X working. The jumpers are on for 4x on the video cards but it doesn't work. The acceleration is really bad tested in 3dmarks. Only 24 fps in Helicopter low detail test. Please help me Thanks..

One thing I forgot to tell is that I have an Asus A7V and i checked it on both optimal and normal settings. Moreover, windows 2000 doesn't assign and IRQ to my card. What to do. I think that is the problem. I have tried bios settings, but couldn't find Assign IRQ to VGA option in it. It was in my old computer but in this bios, I couldn't find it. Please help. Thanks ARC

Hi, I have a Geforce with a VIA 2X AGP on Windows 2000. I have got 6.31 drivers with via 4 in 1. I have tried everything but i can't get the agp working. The DXDIAG says the agp is working but there is no difference with AGP or Without AGP (tested by 3D Mark). Also I checked it using Direct X 8. It doesn't run the AGP Texturing Test. AGP texturing test results: Failure at step 41 (Creating AGP Surface): HRESULT = 0x8876017c (unknown error) My system is: PIII 450 128 RAM 2X VIA AGP 128 MB AGP Aperature (tried on 64 too) Asus 7100 Geforce MX Please help me. Guys, I mentioned above that I could get AGP texturing in DXDIAG. Also the 32MB Texture Rendering Test wont work in 3DMARK 2001 V1.1, which clearly shows my agp is not working. I have tried all the above but couldn't get it to work. The error for DirectX 8 is reported above. Please help. ARC

Well, I got the individual one too but it is still same, no difference. The problem is: I have 2X and these driver are designed for 4X. Where can I get my drivers. Thanks for helping.

I have the following system: ASUS A7V Motherboard AMD Thunderbird 800 128 PC 133 SDRAM 300 Watt Powersupply Windows 2000 Professional In the BIOS SETUP, when I change the DRAM Frequency to 133, Windows crashes on boot or after loading desktop. When I use it @ 100, everthing seems fine and the system runs perfectly. What can't I use the pc-133 sdram @ 133Mhz. Please help me.

Hi, Firstly, I already had the MS VIA patch. Secondly, I have a SB Live! I removed it from my computer and uninstalled the drivers. Then I removed NVIDIA drivers. Then the VIA 4 in 1. Then reinstalled VIA and then NVIDA drivers. Now it is still the same. Now, what can I do? Secondly, when I install VIA drivers, it doesn't ask me for AGP 2X. It says, it will install the following: VxD Drivers Inf 1.02 then when I click next, it says Install AGP4X/KT133 Uninstall AGP4X/KT133 well, since uninstall wouldn't do anything i choose agp4x/kt133 and install the driver fine. I think this is the problem. My motherboard (QDI Legend BrillianX 8V) supports 2X but this is 4X. Please help!

System Configuration: PIII 450 Via Pro Plus (AGP 2X) Windows 2000 Professional Nvidia 6.31 official drivers. 96MB SDRAM Now, I dont get a good performance in games like UT, SOF... My old 3dfx Banshee was better than this. I decided to benchmark the results with 3D Mark 2000 v1.1. The score I get is around 1900-2000. Moreover it trys to load the 32 MB Texture stuff but doesnt work. My banshee score was 56.7FPS in it and it didn't even test it. Please help me with this. Thanks.

Hi, Well I downloaded the Via 4 in 1 Drivers. Now I dont know how to install them. There is a setup file. If I execute that, it open up the blue screen and says. It will in the following: VxD AGP Inf 1.02 then when I click next, it says KT133/AGP4X But I dont have AGP4X. Moreover, I already installed that WIN2K/VIA patch from Microsoft. The AGP is also enabled in DXDIAG. What to do Please help ARC
