Hi Guys, I have HP Laser Jet 5L and I am having problems with it. Printing Ps file from ghostview or a PDF file, it just says out of memory. Although even if the file is less than 4MB, it says that. Why? Any idea? ARC

Hi guys, I noticed that when in Address bar, we type a name that matches something in our favorites, it shows favorites automatically. However, if my favorites is inside a folder in Favorties\.., it wont do that for it. Any ideas, how to get them to behave the same way Thanks ARC

Hi Guys, After converting a PS to PDF using Adobe Distiller 5, the PDF file output is no longer as good as can be seen in Ghostscript. Although there is no mistake or error, the problem is hardviewing. It is hard to read the text. Are there any options that can be setup in Acrobat to make it right. ARC

Hi Guys, I can't seem to get other visual styles downloaded off the internet to work. When I apply them, they just turn the screen black and then i have to somehow revert back to the default Luna Visual Style. They dont appear in Appearance tab, but they do show up on the Themes Tab. On the contrary, on my other computer I am able to run those themes perfectly and the appear both in Appearance and Themes Tab. Any ideas what could be going wrong? ARC

Can't seem to delete or overwrite the file in either Safe Mode or Normal, It just says. Access Denied: File in Use. ARC

No, what i did was. I applied the Window Classics Mode, then logged off. Then logged in and copied the file from the Networked Computer. Is it necessary to copy it in safe mode? ARC

I copied uxtheme.dll from the computer the themes were working to this one, but still no go. Must be something else. Any ideas?

I see.. So this mean when we install StyleXP and then uninstall it, it leaves some files on the computer that makest the other visual style work. I remember I installed StyleXP on this computer and didn't do that on the other one. I think thats the reason. Let me know what files are actually left on computer.. Thanks. ARC

Hi Guys, I have CD ROM that was working perfectly with Windows XP. Suddenly today something happened and there is the yellow exclaimation marks in Device Manager. It says "Windows cannot load the deive driver for htis hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing" I tried uninstalling it and refreshing devices many times. But it is the same. Any ideas whats causing the problem Miku

Hi Guys, I have an old video card that is not supported by windows xp. The VgaSave default drivers, loads it all good. I can go up to max resolution and the colors are fine. The only thing I want to change is the Refresh Rate. But I cant do that. it says in monitor tab. Using Hardware default setting. and My monitor is default monitor on ... Is there a way to change the refresh rate through registry for this VgaSave Adapter. Thanks. ARC

Hi Guys I have an AMD 1.4 GHz w/ ECS K7S5A. I have Windows XP. It doesn't response very fast. Consider it would take 5-10 secs to open in My Computer or Control Panel. I looked into it and found this out. When my High Speed Internet Connection is on, it becomes slow. If I disable my connection. It is as fast as expected. I noticed the lights on my modem. While going to control panel or my computer, the modem receive/send lights blink and after about 5-6 or probably more seconds control panel or my computer or any app comes up. Any idea whats going on? Secondly, I have to things in my Device Manager which I dont know what they are. They are type Network Adapters, called Packet Schedular # 5 and #4. They have yellow exclaimation mark. I can't seem to uninstall it. It says, this device is required to bootup the computer. This might be related to my other problem. Somebody please help me. Thanks. Ok found it out! My network computer was not connected. When I completed the network, it is back to its normal speed but the light on my hub blink (transfer of data) when I open like my computer, control panel etc. Why would it do that? There should be any link if I am opening my computer to the computers on the network, or control panel etc. ARC

Ok I checked it. Disabling and enabling the Internet and Local Areal Network Connections doesn't really make a differerence. The number of processess remains same and I throughly checked them. There is no difference, except memory for some processes goes a bit up around 2000K. Around 4 process memory goes up. Thats basically it! Very strange! Is there any way I could remove the Packet Schedular stuff. I tried deleteing them for registry even but it wont let me do that. Thanks

There are no drivers for the Cable Modem. It is simply connected to the network card. ARC
