You might want to go to www.win2kworld.com. They have a lot of win2k drivers there. I do believe that they have TNT2 drivers there. Also, if you're never going to use your voodoo2 again in your pc, delete the 3dfx*.dll files from the winnt\system32 dir. This way, GLIDE won't come up as an option anymore.

First, calm down buddy. We're all friends here. Second, you are the one that's asking for help, so BE NICE. Third, I'm running UnED just fine, and all I installed was the Unreal Editor Fix #4. It can be found at http://unreal.epicgames.com then the downloads tab. I don't recommend VB6 runtime. UnED is supposed to use VB5 and when I installed VB6 runtime, it hosed UnED (under Win98, don't know what VB6 would do to Win2k). When you install the Unreal Editor Fix #4, have it install into your UT dir. At 60%, it will complain about overwriting the Editor. Tell it NO, then YES when prompted. Forth, check your UnrealTournament.ini and under [Engine.Engine]make sure that EditorEngine=Editor.EditorEngine is there. When all else fails, reinstall. When all else

OK then, Where can I download DirectX 7.0a for Win2k? All the DirectX downloads I've seen and tried are for Win95/98 only. [This message has been edited by Freak (edited 03 February 2000).]

Anybody else seen this problem? I'm running Win2k Beta 3 (2183) on: P2 450 256MB Ram 10gig UDMA ATA\66 HD SB Live! Voodoo3 3000 Logitech Wheel Mouse and although UT runs sweeeeet(60 FPS at 1280x1024, high everything)sometimes my mouse buttons won't respond. I'll try to shoot and it just won't. The mouse button will even lock down and continue to fire after I have let go?!? I've tried two different mice, and two different drivers with no difference. Can anyone help? ------------------

All right, here's the scoop. To get UT to load faster on ANY windows platform, do the following: 1) Goto UT System sub-dir and open up the UnrealTournament.ini. 2) Under find the entry LocalMap=CityIntro.unr and change it to LocalMap=UT-Logo-Map.unr UT will not load the City fly-by scene at startup now, and will startup a LOT quicker. 3) Under [Engine.GameEngine] find the entry CacheSizeMegs=4 and change it to like 75% of your RAM. Ex. 128MB RAM - CacheSizeMegs=96 you want to leave some memory for Win2k. This should improve speed and gameplay for ya. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Freak (edited 03 February 2000).]
