Thanx, I found what you were talking about, but the batch file didn't seem to work since some of the drivers were always in use, even in safe mode when I uninstalled my soundcard. Finally, I had to reboot under my old Win98, deleting every driver by myself, and then reboot in Win2k to install the new drivers. Bou it works now :-)) Thanks

As said in a post below ("Live!Ware for Win2k or how to kill Win2k in a few clics"), those new drivers don't seem to work very well for everybody. And, as always, I am one of the "lucky" people who tests the new bugs live :-(( The install works perfectly, but after reboot the system crashes and auto-reboots just before the "Windows is starting up" window appears. I was not using any unofficial driver before attempting to install this new release. Please help me, because I'm tired to get a 2 speaker sound on my Desktop 5.1 Digital ;-( in my favorite games. Everything you say about the double of RAM, you mean for every program or in games only ? On my system with a GeForce, I think that Quake 3 (OpenGL) is working fine, but I have a lot of slowdowns when playing UT (Direct3D). Maybe the drivers are not good yet in D3D ? I saw so many posts on this topic that I couldn't find any answer. I have a Sound Blaster Live! Value and I installed the new drivers just as said in the news page (with the Universal INF file etc...),but my Win2k crashes before the login window. Does anyone have the answer or will we have to wait for official Creative drivers ? Thanx

When I try to update my drivers to a new version > 3.65, it runs well until my computer crashes a few minutes after reboot. No error message, nothing, no CTRL+ALT+DEL, I just have to reset. Drivers 3.65 run very well My system : NVidia GeForce 256 SDRAM on Athlon 500 + Asus K7M, 128 MO RAM, Win2k Any idea ? Thanx

The software update for Internet Explorer 5 called Microsoft Global IME for Japanese (that is an update to be able to read and write e-mails in japanese for example) doesn't want to install under Win2k. Do you know where I can get this update suitable for Windows 2000 ? Thx
