haha! Now your stuck with NTCompatible.
-
Look in here: http://www.ntcompatible.com/newresults.shtml WTF does it say Worms Armageddon works in XP? As far as I know it doesn't. To verify I want each and every one of you who has Worms Armageddon and Windows XP to load it up and try it. I also wanna know who's posting stuff that doesn't work. ARRRRRRRRRGGGHHH! That's all I ever see on every messageboard. Does WA work in 2000? Does WA work in XP? Ntcompatible say's it does but it doesn't? (Replace WA with another game) SO WHO POSTED IT? (probly Microsoft )

Bleh. GF2MX is ancient. I for one like my 60fps in 1920X1440 in UT and my 49fps in 2048X1536 in Q3!

Yes. XP does not get rid of you having to install drivers. The included VIA gart with XP may not be compatible with your computer. If so load the VIA 4ins1's.

Strange. My Creative 5.1 Digital speakers work june fine with the WDM Drivers. All 5 speakers.
-
That would suck if they made you use the banner cluttered versions. I haven't used ICQ since '98 so I can't really help but if you can never get ICQ99 to work there are hacks to take out the banners I think.

Who cares about Liveware? They release individual drivers all the time.
-
Nah, They skipped # 13 for obvious reasons. The 14.20 lowered my GL/D3D marks a couple of marks but no biggie. The 14.20's add an AGP slider into the drivers so they stay.

There really isn't a point tho since that will just run it after the install....
-
ehhh, your not list specs. Your not listing driver vers. Your not listing game settings. etc, etc.

Laptops have had D3D for a looonngg time. But very crappy D3D because they were mostly ATI/S3 graphics cards. If you want to do gaming in Windows 2000 on a laptop I'd recommend you listen to CUViper and get a Dell with a Geforce2 Go.

You can change the Licensing to "Per Seat" without reinstalling. This will fix your prob.

and SOME people fail to see the imperfections around them......

Try going into C:\Program Files\Common files and deleting the installshield directory. Then rerun a program that installs .msi program.

Unless of course you are a local admin.

DosFreak replied to BladeRunner's topic in Software
