Yep CM, but that one doesn't work in 2000. I took th files out of that one and placed 'em into mine. It works in Windows 2000 now.
-
If it worked in 2000 you should be able to grab the INF & drivers off the 2000 CD.

Whistler Application Compatibility Toolkit v2.0 is out. It includes files from the latest Whistler Application Compatibility Toolkit + the files from the Whistler Application Compatibility Toolkit I compiled before. www.freedrive.com Login:ntcompatible pass:ntcompatible Check it out! It's pretty neat.

I will be using the PRO version most likely. Since Whistler isn't in RC yet you can't really trust any features you've read about so far. Wait until Whistler goes into RC form before you decide.

Here's one not too many people might not know about.... If a game used to work with previous video drivers or before you upgraded your DirectX version. Simply take the DDRAW.DLL out of the previous DirectX ver and place the file into the game directory. Then run the game. This isn't guaranteed to work all the time but sometimes it will!

Duallie here....and since the latest duallies out now are P3's. Well I choose the P3! Running Dual P3-1000@1125 150Mhz FSB on my Abit VP6!

Winrar has some trouble with .cab files it seems. Try powerarchiver www.powerarchiver.com or winzip www.winzip.com

Do you mean Tiberian Dawn? The original? Nope, I've figured out a way to bypass the setup error but you still can't play the game. I think the network protocol .dll is getting in the way. Don't quote me on that tho... As far as I know no one else has been able to get it to work and it doesn't work under Vmware either.

Go to start/run/cmd Then type in net start "service" or net "stop" service.

Hmmmm, you could try switching the TCPIP....or mabye it's as simple as some registry entries. I'd like to look into it but I'm not on dial-up. As soon as I get my test network up I'd like to take a look... For now try getting a proggie that'll tell you what your MTU,RWIN, etc. etc. are and comparing them to your PRO. If same then try switching the TCPIP.+

1. Install latest mobo bios. 2. If that doesn't work then reinstall 2000 as Standard PC.
