If your game is not listed in the list of fixed games then the App comaptibility update will not work for that game. All the App compatibility updates is is a registry settings that points to a dll. When the game is executed it is lied to by that .dll.

Is your Primary 1st partition Fat16? Is your Secondary 1st partition Fat16? If your secondary 1st is fat16 the easiest and least frustrating way would be to simply disable your primary HD eveery time you wanted to boot the 2nd hd.

From where I'm sitting I see alot of probes, alot of viruses and ALOT of activity. There is alot of stuff that homes users do not see simply because they have nothing in place to see it. When you game simply TURN YOUR ANTIVIRUS OFF! 8) 8) As I stated before a firewall can IMPROVE your performance on the internet. Antivirus will of course decrease your speed for increased protection but if your a tweaker then you'll know when you need AV and when you will not need it. If you use NTFSDOS or ERD Commander you can easily access the DOS prompt.

Just like 9x, NT also has old junk laying around for compatibility reasons.

The only way that I have been able to run it is by using Vmware but even on my dual P3-933 with 512m ram on a IBM DMA/100 drive under Vmware with Windows 98 it runs veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrryyy slowwwllyy. So to answer your question. NO! If you figure out how to get it to run under regular 2000 lemme know please. I've been very busy at work for awhile now and so I haven't had time to update my game list. I think I've received 40+ more games that I haven't added to it yet.

NV20 was already done when the buyout of 3dfx was announced. NV25 or whatever is next was probably already designed. NV30 would be the possibilit but since that tech is well in advanced of anything that 3dfx had (heck even the Geforce was more than the V5 could recon with) I HIGHLY doubt that ANY 3dfx tech will be in any Nvidia card. The only thing 3dfx will be the quality of the workmanship from the 3dfx engineers now working at Nvidia. *Let's just hope they don't slap 4 Geforce 2 s on one card and call it good. ;(

Also flash to lastest mobo bios and use newer drivers for NIC/Sound. If that doesn't work try moving to different PCI slot or reinstalling 2k without ACPI.

Try inserting them in the CONFIG.NT file in the \Winnt\system32 directory. Config.sys does not apply to NT.

1. Unreal supports D3D,Glide,Software,Opengl just fine. 2. Update Unreal with the latest patch or use the Unreal to UT engine hack to use the latest UT files in Unreal. 3. Any problems with video after you have updated to the latest update will be a driver problem. 4. The Unreal engine works best in Opengl on Geforce cards.
