Do you have to be a official beta tester to report bugs?
DosFreak replied to Questionnaire's topic in Hardware
No no Jdulmage I think he wants the bugs reported to Microsoft. -
This is OSX: http://www.apple.com/macosx/

APK, You should start sprucing up your web page or sticking those in .HLP format. Would be easier for linkage and easier on the eyes! [This message has been edited by DosFreak (edited 10 February 2001).]

Ok. I'm confused. Can you tell me exactly what your problems are and what you need? Why don't you just boot off of the CD and insert your RAID drivers and then do a repair? Why are you focusing on creating a repair disk when you should be focusing on fixing WHY you need to creat a repair disk for a problem that you shouldn't have?
-
They fixed all your problems??
-
Yep, Pro has IIS. It's limited to 10 connections tho.
-
Weird. Compressed textures work fine here.....
-
It's a video prob. It worked fine on the 6.34's a long time ago for me. Now with the 6.67's it doesn't work.
-
WRONG! Windows 2000 was RTM in December IIRC. I know I had the RTM waaaaayyy before the Retail. Besides Whistler is Windows 2000 Enhanced not a totally new OS.
-
Don't email Sigma Designs either. It's a beta OS. They SHOULD have drivers when Whistler goes into RC form but they probably won't because there will not be a demand for the OS. Complain to the company on final release of the OS. I don't remember if the drivers worked for me when I last tried Whistler. I think they did.
-
Simply replace the .67 .INF and NVCPL with the 6.34's. Fixed.
-
Yep, people have forgotten about matching exact processors when building duallies. While not as important as it was in the old days it's still best to have 'em the same. The VP6 IIRC bumps the voltage down to a very low voltage if your running a CB0 & CC0. Hope ABIT releases a new bios soon.

I agree set it to No. Yes causes more problems than no.

Oh boy! Now another option added to the mix! "There is the WHQL 6.62 drivers" Good drivers. "the supposed speedier (LEAKED) 6.67" No speed increase over 6.67. Lose D3D if you run Q3 and then try to run D3D. Have to reboot. "the DX specific (LEAKED) 7.17" Crap compared to 6.62+ "and now an "official" NV 6.50 driver!!!???!!!" Old drivers ( 12/4/2000) but straight from Nvidia. Supposedly has bug in coolbits where it adds on to to pre-exiting overclock. Haven't verified yet.
-
**GTS** OK So what det. drivers are you guys using now????
DosFreak replied to Sparkhard's topic in Games
6.50's are old. 12/4/2000. I use 6.67's which are a couple of days older. The ONLY problem I have with these drivers is if I load up Quake 3 and then exit and play a D3D game then the D3D game will not load. I have to restart. Other than that these drivers are perfect. I don't think I had this prob with the 6.62's. Simply replace the NVCPL with one from the 6.34's to get coolbits. Don't use the 7.xx's. -
No there isn't. DO NOT convert.

They should just name it Windows NT 5.1 or somesuch for the Pro,Server,AS. Keep it Windows LUVULONGTIME for Home users.
