Yes, the new Safedisc 2 which according to the author of CloneCD can NOT be cracked unless MABYE a firmware for the CDR is released and/or you buy a Phillips CDR. Check out www.cdrinfo.com fo the 'fo. The new HD cpy protection stuff (which I HIGHLY doubt will ever come to p***). Stagnation of information is not good. That's what the internet is all about. I think it's pretty sad that I have 100+ games that I have personally bought with my hard earned money. All of them are backed up with cracks on the CD. Why? Because when I install the game FULLY I don't wanna have to insert the POS CD back in the drive and risk damaging it and also I get really REALLY annoyed shuffling 50,000,000 CD'S a day. Grrrrrrr. This crap is making me So mad I'm thinking about starting a petition......

If your talking about Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 then yes there is one. It's currently in beta testing. It works fine here.

Also if your processor is slow try adjusting the view distance. That will affect your fps the most.

Good Job!

Also not everyone has all software. I don't play golf games so I won't buy the game and no one around me has the game. So that's why I haven't tried to fix it yet.

7.16/7.17/7.19 Always run game at same res/bitrate as desktop otherwise you will experience memory leaks and EXTREME slowdowns. You will also experience memory leaks in some cases anyways. 7.10 are the best to use out of the 7.x drivers. 6.34 drivers best to use out of 6.xx. Most stable drivers. 7.xx drivers are very fast in D3D. when from 1400 3dmark to 2830 3dmarks. 6.34 to 7.10.

Sound like they are trying to rip you off. You can easily upgrade the firmware for your DVD yourself. Go to www.digital-digest.com/dvd

;( Aureal wasn't excactly forthcoming with drivers before they died. I guess it's nice to blame something when you don't know what to blame. ;(

Is there any way to keep the fixes seperate from the list? Like the Games/sofware list would be just that. A list. Then within you could click on a link on How to fix the game. For instance: Doom (works in NT4/2000) (Link to how to get to work) Then of course of the how to get to work page it would list the different OGL programs you can use to run it such as. Zdoom/Jdoom. The reason I ask is that all of those fixes listen on the main page could turn people off of trying out 2000 because they would think that it requires alot of tweaking....which it doesn't really. Oh oh....mabye there could be like a comments page for each game. Now that would be cool. But it would probably be overrun with OT comments. Hmmmmm.........

Hmmm, I think I got the demo to work. Thing is if a game exits back to desktop it usually points to a system problem and not a OS/game problem.

1. Install Dx8.

It's very common. The most common factor in not being able to install games in Windows 2000 is because of self-checks or of differences in registry and directories.

Nope. Just format the partition on which Whistler resides and remove Whistler from the boot.ini -

Make a permanent swapfile of 500/500. If you can't spare the space 300/300 will do you fine in games on average.
