1. Set Ram memory settings to the maximum in your bios and see if that fixes your problems. 2. Update your bios to the latest version if you haven't already. 3. Update your video card drivers to the latest version. 4. Make sure video card is firmly in the AGP slot....also make sure all other cards in your computer are firmly in their slots. 5. Put each IDE device on it's own power cord connector. 6. Go to this website to learn how to flash the bios of your Geforce to the latest version http://www.xs4all.nl/~bmsmit/ 7. Make sure your case temperature is not getting too high. An easy way to verify this would be to leave your case off and then try to use your computer. If your computer still locks up...then obiviously this is not the problem. 8. Make sure the PCI slot right next to your AGP slot is empty. Also read your motherboard book to figure out which PCI slots share IRQ's, Which support bus mastering and which do not. I hope this helps!

Have you guys tried downloading dx7aeng.exe. Extracting the files from the .exe and then placing these files into your game directory? I did this with Quake 3 to see if I could get TurboGL to work in W2k and also to see if I could get any improvement in speed...I didn't of course.

Hmm. I'm using the BE6 R1 and my Intellimouse Explorer (Intellieye) is on USB. Could you try switch from USB to PS2 or PS2 to USB and report back with the results? I have no problems with my games.

Any device put on a 66 controller is already set to use DMA by default. If a device doesn't like being on the 66 controller, it's most likely because it does not support DMA.

You have to sign up to access the shared folder. Don't worry just enter any name/pass to register. You don't even have to wait for them to send you a password. You make your own and it only takes a minute.

My LS120 is reported as A: in W2K. I disabled floppy in bios and enabled report no FDD for W95. My LS120 is Primary Slave. This has worked for me for the past 50+ NT5 reinstalls.

In Quake 3 at 1024X768 with all settings to the max I get the EXACT same frame rate that I do in Build 2499 of Windows ME. This is on a Matrox G400 32mb AGP SH OEM.
