NO. Look on google. Don't ask here.

Yes, get a newer AV. 7.6 is like 3-4 years old, IIRC.

http://dosbox.sourceforge.net for the DOS versions of King's Quest.

Don't have any experience with that specific External Enclosure, I usually buy generic ones that are cheaper. From my experience the USB/Firewire chipsets in External Enclosures can be flaky so whenever you have problems with the HD's, simple take 'em out and hook 'em up to your computer directly. Then run the HD diagnostic programs from the HD manufacturer.

WindowsUpdate never detected these devices? Not suprising really I've always wondered why MS has never had better hardware detection and driver support @ WindowsUpdate. It would be awesome if ALL hardware developers since MS their latest stable WHQL drivers even BETA drivers, and notified WindowsUpdate. As it is now only some companies go through the length WHQL process when the hardware is first released, get the drivers posted on WindowsUpdate and MABYE WindowsUpdate detects the hardware or not.

We can't really help you with gameplay specific problems, we are more of a "Get game to work" site than a "I have a problem building houses, creating a character, etc etc" site. Go here: http://bbs.thesims2.ea.com/community/bbs...&startRow=1 Thread closed.

DosFreak replied to Masked_Mullet006's topic in Games
Try copying the first CD to your hard drive and running it from there, also when you do run Setup, load up task manager and see what setup.exe does (If it immediately exits on execution or hangs around and does nothing) -
What's the problem? The demo version works fine for me in 2K/XP/2K3.

Ah yes. THOSE people. Yeah, I've got a special place in Hell reserved for those people....right next to the kids who always ask for Full versions of games on Message Boards. Kids these days. In my day you had to (god forbid) go over to a neighbors and actually copy the floppy disk.

They are just the type of people that want their problem fixed, get the fix, and then are happy. It's like if you want the AC in your car fixed.....you don't constantly hang around your dealership after it's fixed do ya? (Mabye you do...I don't know)

DosFreak replied to Masked_Mullet006's topic in Games
Hmmm....When you say "Click Install" is this from the Fallout Tactics menu program? Try surfing the CD for a setup.exe and try running that. -

Chubbymouse, did this work for you?

Sounds like a heating issue. May want to downclock your card and see if that helps. If so you'll need to get better cooling for your card.

Nah your good. If you switch between different OS's that are not on a domain then if you have issues with file/directory access then you can simply change ownership back. -

If you have your motherboard/computer manual look in there for a CMOS\Bios jumper. You set this to wipe your CMOS\BIOS and allow your computer to boot. You probably won't be able to find it tho so.... 1. Unplug your computer 2. Open computer case 3. remove CMOS battery 4. Wait a couple of secs...... 5. plug in battery 6. plug in PC 7. leave case off for now! 8. Turn on PC. If it still doesn't boot up, repeat procedure.
