Hmmm, searching MS site they show Intellipoint 4.1 being released but it's linked to the older version.

Mabye this? http://www.emulators.com/explorer.htm It may be overkill for what you want but try the trial of VPC 5.0

Looks like the 9700 may be hard on the eyes. Check out: http://www.3dgpu.com for the subject "ATI 9700 Pro Lowers Refresh Rates vs Their 8500"

There's a .reg tweak. Look in gpedit.msc there may be an option in there. Don't have .NET in front of me right now so can't help.

Ah the sterotype. Not all pirates wore eyepatches ya know.

Yep, I believe a third party category or a different color needs to be added for those programs that can only work in NT by using said programs. We also need an "Officially Supported" category.

Nope. Haven't created a guide myself but I found this on another board via google. Quote: 2. Whip out your Office XP CD and create a shortcut to the setup.exe 3. Edit that shortcut and add /a to the end like this setup.exe /a 4. Now use that shortcut to create an admin install point. (I used G:\OfficeXP) 5. Now it will ask you for the key and what not during this process. 6. After creating the admin install point you should have a directory with 7 files and 1 directory called files 7. Now download Office XP SP1 - Admin version 40 MB (!) 8. Run the admin update and point it to a directory you can create. (I extracted my files to D:\oxpsp1) 9. Now open up a command prompt and enter in this information (remember D:\oxpsp1 is the SP1 files and G:\OfficeXP is my admin install point. You might have to change these to match your computer) "msiexec /p D:\oxpsp1\MAINSP1_Admin.msp /a G:\OfficeXP\PROPLUS.MSI SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb /L* G:\oxpsp1.log" 10. Now you can burn the contents of the admin install directory to CD and then install Office XP SP1 with no problems

Try this: http://www.memtest86.com/ Much better than any other memory scanner.
-
The admin install can be "slipstreamed" into your original Office XP CD.

Thanks for the ver #. Was just adding queries to SMS and didn't know the ver # for OXP SP2.

Yep, that's one of the things I hate about the submissions. People will usually just insert the CD and try to play. If it doesn't work then they will list it as not working. It would be nice to have in BIG HUGE LETTERS. "DID YOU DO THIS FIRST?" Questions on the submissions link.

Getting XP Movie Maker moved to Win2k
DosFreak replied to jwl812's topic in Customization & Tweaking
Don't forget to install the WMP 7.1 codecs in the included WMFDIST.EXE file. Just execute the main file no need to extract files. -
Getting XP Movie Maker moved to Win2k
DosFreak replied to jwl812's topic in Customization & Tweaking
Just took a quick look at Windows Catalog. Downloaded the Movie Maker update for XP. Extracted the files in setup.exe Extracted the files in mm12ex Executed Moviemk.exe It worked. That's all I've done or am going to do since I don't like Movie Maker but it appears to work. oh I did all this under Windows 2000 Pro SP3. PS. Shouldn't this be under the 2K forum? -
Submit a compatibility report to NTCompatible. Link is on the front page.

Yup, you wiped it. When you installed 2k did you delete any partitions? These partitions held your Compaq Bios. It may be possibile to use Partition Magic to make a partition and then install the Compaq Bios but it's best to start from scratch. (These aren't really the "Bios" really just extensions to the bios. Compaq likes to pile TONS of stuff onto the HD to help you better manage your computer...unfortunately when you wipe it your SOL...unless you have the Disks or can find the downloads @ Compaq)

NWN is all about the multiplayer. The Single player isn't bad but is far inferior to BG1/BG2. I would equate the Single Player to Dungeon Siege levels with good/bad points. Pretty much about even tho.
