If u are going to buy a new card now, don't go for anything less than a GeForce, in power I mean. Buying a TNT2 now, with GeForce2 and ATIs Radeon out/on the way would be a waste of money. I'm not even gonna answer that about MS (it would take to long...), but about Hearts, simply take a Win9x machine and serch for "mshearts.*" I know there is a .exe file, don't remember if it is anotherone. I am thinking about upgrading my system, and currently my choice is this: AMD Athlon 750MHz Microstar 6167 mainboard ASUS V6800 GeForce DDR 128MB PC100 RAM The GeForce and RAM I already have, but I would like to now what you think about this combo. Any problems getting it to work together? Driverproblems? Any other HW that would be better? Everything is of interrest, so if u know something, PLEASE write it!!! U have to upgrade HL to get it to work. I'm running v 1.0.1.3 and it works like a charm, but v1.0 just causes a program error. And there IS a standard windows error, namely it ****s things up and u have to restart.... ------------------

I just got an ASUS V6800 Pure GeForce256, and it seemes to work fine both under Win98SE and Win2000 (Full) Problem is that i have an AMD 500MHz and a FIC SD11 mainboard. The system doctor under Win98 complains about the AGP voltage sometimes is OK, but sometimes has trouble providing enough power, and says that the system might be unstable. From the little I have had time to test it, it seems to work fine (with an incredible speed, I might add). The thing that I wonder about though i this: will the system just be unstable if the card doesn't get enough power, or could this cause serious damage to my system? I looked at both the FIC and the ASUS homepage, but it doesn't say anything about this. Does anybody know? Sounds like a driverproblem to me. Get the latest drivers, or try to use Microsofts own drivers if possible. I know of a server that got bluescreen pretty often. I was the printerdrivers. Changed to Microsofts own, and not a bluescreen after that! ------------------

I have PowerDVD, and it runs great. Only problem I have, is that the control panel i gone. I can see it on the stratline, but it won't open. Not a big problem thogh, as I can just rightclick on the screen and get the same options ------------------

It is approved by Athlon. I know how bad things can get if u have problems with the PSU, so I bought a good one. I just wanna know i any of my HW can get damaged by this, 'cause if not, I will run it without any overcloking or other to keep it running, wait a month or two and buy a new motherboard, with higher busclock and stuff. ------------------

Easiest way to awoid this problem is to install win98 first, on the c: drive, and then win2k.

Same error I got on some other games. It usually disapeared after installing the newes version of the games. Try that

I have also the same problem. I have a Athlon 500MHz, 128MB RAM, G200 and Voodoo2. I run W2k RC2 and OpForce v1.0.0.1 The settings must be in some kind of file, maybe a .ini file? If somebody knows the file it is in, and can mail it to me, I would be grateful! ------------------
