Which version of wb? Version 2.2 or 3(beta)? WB 3 works fine on my system. The only thing to mention is that WinXp switches back to the classic shell when using any of the wb skins.

You need to download the Java Virtual Machine from MS for the IE6 because it isn't included anymore. Microsoft got some trouble with Sun in the past 'cause the MS Java doesn't meet the Java standards from Sun. But you can still download their JavaVM from MS download pages or check the automatic installation of needed packages on under ie-options and it should done for you automatically. Don't know how to solve this java problem with Opera. AFAIK there is no support for java with that browser version. Perhaps in the next version... Good luck Imi

The build in SBLive drivers for XP from Microsoft are a piece of crap. Try these drivers here: 5.12.01.3507 SBLive! WDM After installing them I got sound out of all my 4 speakers from the 4point surround system for my SBLive De-install the drivers that originally came with Microsoft, install the new drivers and your problem should be solved. Good luck

There is an article in the MS knowledge base describing this 'shutdown-behaviour' after installing sp1 and serials like gc6j... (Q255503) They are also describing a workaround with a litte bit registry hacking. It is not necessary to reinstall the whole o2k package, the reg hack does it too and saves a lot of time [This message has been edited by Imi (edited 06 February 2001).]

I have the same problem with an Win2k Advanced Server configured as an PDC an dial-on-demand-router. The connection to the internet is declared as permanent, there is ***igned a permanent ip address and everything works fine. But every 1 1/2 week the server (or something else) cuts the connection, redials after that, says that the connection has been established but I'm not able to ping anything on the internet. The intranet works fine, but even without connectivity to the internet. Win2k ignores all settings made in the routing and ras console including the ip address. The provider says that there is no connection active on the line reserved for my server, but the server says he is connected and has the ***igned ip address (but is not reachable from outside). Where and what in the hell is that thing dialing? Perhaps someone has an idea was went wrong or what is misconfigured. Thanks... [This message has been edited by Imi (edited 11 December 2000).]

Same on my system too. Version 4.0 runs fine, but after that 'update' I'm not able to start that piece of sh*** again. Re-install Golive 4 again without patching it and the problem should be solved. cu imi

Take a look at this site. The guy there writes 'These drivers should work with any tv tuner card based on BT848/BT849/BT878/BT879' http://www.geocities.com/amethman/ Perhaps that solves your problem with your board. cu imi

Mine works fine with w2k build 2195 and NDS 3.00.048 with cable connection. There was an error message during installation about the driver functionality but after reboot everything worked fine.
