    Voodoo 3 Software

Hey dude, I just downloaded the new beta drivers for my Voodoo3 card at this address as you see above...or basically where you're at now. They have a listing for all the voodoo cards. The older drivers for Win2000 didn't have the 3dfx tools but this one does. Just make sure you follow the directions given to install it. If you still can't find it I'll ICQ em too ya sometime. DirectCD in Win2k

I have Direct CD 3 ( which came with my Plextor) and don't work at all. I don't know how you guys are doing it, but adaptec says a version of DirectCD isn't out that supports WIn2K. Please tell me I'm wrong and how to fix it for sure. I can't get my burner to work since I can't afford to get EZ-CD Creator4 or the fact that DirectCD don't work

Looking for an antivirus program ..........

I'm tossing in another vote for Norton Antivirus 5. I opened the NT Workstation folder and ran setup. No problems for months now. Later

    Norton Utilities for Windows 2000

I have to agree with Mr Thick"peewee" man. I love N.U. and if you keep all that other crap out from installing its great. Anybody I put computers together for, I make em buy it. My own opinion of course, its a great preventer of messed up operating systems..but take heed in the fact that any of their utilities so get a system going that can't boot aren't worth a hoot. Later

    Alien vs. Predator

On my system, AvP would play the into to the mission and then drop out. For a while there I was getting errors which referred to (I think it said) 3dfx.dll, which I assumed was my Voodoo3 card. Since then I gotten the patch for AvP and the new beta drivers for my Voodoo3. I can now play it, but for some odd reason when I load up on the mission it still every once in a while drops out again. It is very random in nature and I get no errors, it just plops itself on out and I just restart it. So who knows, just thought I led you know of someone else having problems with it. I still think its the Voodoo3 drivers!!! Later
