This update is from the creative soundblaster live news group Harvey Fong of creative wrote "I guess all of us, including the folks in Singapore thought everything would be hunkydory and the new Live!Ware would be well on it's way to the users by now. I'm sure you've already figured out that this isn't all good news. It seems that the driver portion is still not back from getting it's WHQL bit turned on (it was expected back last Monday). The only bit of reassurance is that it has indeed passed the requirements for WHQL compliance. At this point everyone is still hoping for next week. Ok please correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't winme just written because developers weren't doing the right thing with win2k drivers etc so they brought out winme!! microsoft wants to get rid of dos so they are trying to get ppl to stop relying on it thats why winme sorta hides its dos usage. i think that the idea about companies making their own bootable disks for they're flash programs etc is a good idea. may take some time,,,, yes but worth it when people start needing it when dos is dead. ------------------ CELERON 333 Asus p2b-b motherboard 64 mg ram voodoo 3 2000-3000 hybrid (2000 with tv out) Sb live value realtek nic

he guys don't give him to much **** cos remember he's the second best computer person at his school so he knows what he is on about maybe if he installed 2k ntfs then 98 it would work better just like 98 to 2k lol
-
This is a WINDOWS 2000 message board we speak about WINDOWS 2000 news problems etc the driver you are speaking about is windows 9x!!!! so don't bug us with it!
-
attention this problem has been solved for months now put your win2k cd in the drive and boot off it this will give you a recovery mode that overides win2k's anti delete thing it uses the dos prompt and works with ntfs just delete the two files and ctmm32 and devcon32 in system32 and reinstall the drivers
-
download liveware from creatives site they must have fixed the drivers since the leaked one because i don't get any of those problems any more!
-
is the setup file in the temp folder with the other files?
