How do I force DMA or disable the "Use Dma if available" startup check ? There are no busmastering drivers available as yet Windows98 works fine with dma checked and with the udma drivers. Anyone help?

The chipset is Sis 5513. It suppoerts DMA/UDMA/ATA33/WHATEVER The HDD is a Quantum Fireball 6.4 EX ATA33 Linux supports udma with this setup (12.55mb/sec) Win9x supports udma with this setup (10mb/sec) your missing the [point], i want to disable the startup check because it selects PIO (2.5mb/sec) over udma ;which is slow and crap any suggestions??????????

How do I force UDMA within Win2k?? In device manager it is set for "Use DMA by default", but under "Current Xfer" it is PIO How do I disable this check, because I could at least set it to DMA using Regedt32.exe ChIz
