    SMP and Win2K

Ok Thanks, I saw the two windows so I guess one for each CPU. Is there a way to set up a sytem monitor type thing with CPU usage and memory and make it a little window like you can in Win 98? Also, does Win2K auto assign CPU usage between the 2 CPU's by default? Thanks
  2. Hello, I have a dual processor system ready for Win2K when it comes out. I will make Win2K my main OS. I'm having a hard time deciding which file format to use. Can anyone comment on running games and such using NTFS. Otherwise I was just planning on using FAT32. Thanks

NTFS or FAT32 which is better for gamers?

Thanks for all your replies. I am planning on using a 27 gig hard drive that I have right now waiting for it. I also have a 40G on order but I don't think I'll have it in time so I'll just make it a D: drive. I think I'll try it at first with NTFS and then wipe it all and re do it with Fat32 if I don't like it.

Good online place to buy Win2K

Hi All, Is there a good online place that can get Win2K to me faster than the retail launch? Or does MS make everyone wait. I just built a dual PIII 650 system and can't wait to unleash it on Win2K. Should I just wait for FEB 17th when CompUSA and other stores can sell it?

    What's a good Dual P3/800 board

I just bought a Supermicro P6DBE at Fry's electronics. I had the new voltage regulators per Supermicro's web site. I had to boot the board up with a Celeron to flash it to get coppermine support, then I put in two PIII 650's. THe supermicro will only support 100mhz fsb coppermines. The multipliers go up to 8. The good thing about this board is that it is a BX chipset based board. I'm still not ready to use i820 or i840 yet. Good Luck
