I have installed IRM-100 module to MB (asus cusl-2c) and enabled irda support from BIOS, but I can't get Win XP to regognize my IRDA module at all. What is wrong?

I installed Win XP (build 2600) and I'm just wondering who can I use hibernate? If I take shutdown there is only these choises: standby, restart and shutdown - NO hibernate (even I have enabled it in power options)

I have Asus cusl-2c mb, do I need install Intel infs?

Is there or will there be? Or does win2k drivers work?

Which one I should use: FAT32 or NTFS? At least in win2k FAT32 seems to be faster (for me and many others said same) in normal use, but what is situation in Windows XP? Br, juha

Hi! I have asus pci isdn-card (newest drivers) and if I try to go to hibernate state my computer freezes. Is this ASUS fault or is there same problem with all Pci-isdn cards? Is solution to get ISA isdn card? Is isa slower than pci? thanks!!! -Juha-

I uninstalled SP1 and everything works ok.

I just installed SP1 to my win2k, after that when I try to play CS I have this error: WARNING: UDP_opensocket: socket: NO ERRORNET ports: server 27015, client 27005 could not get TCP/IP address, TCP/IP disabled reason :WSAENOTSOCK could not get IPX address, IPX disabled reason :WSAENOTSOCK "model" is "" connecting 194.251.249.196:27015 the server requires that you be validated through WON.net could not obtain 'wON authentication. My internet connection works great, but CS not. Can anyone help me please?

I only get error message: "The update has been canceled. No qualified Adaptec produtct can be detected". Previous updates has worked with no problems why this not??
