I have installed IRM-100 module to MB (asus cusl-2c) and enabled irda support from BIOS, but I can't get Win XP to regognize my IRDA module at all. What is wrong?

I installed Win XP (build 2600) and I'm just wondering who can I use hibernate? If I take shutdown there is only these choises: standby, restart and shutdown - NO hibernate (even I have enabled it in power options)

I have Asus cusl-2c mb, do I need install Intel infs?

Which one I should use: FAT32 or NTFS? At least in win2k FAT32 seems to be faster (for me and many others said same) in normal use, but what is situation in Windows XP? Br, juha

Hi! I have asus pci isdn-card (newest drivers) and if I try to go to hibernate state my computer freezes. Is this ASUS fault or is there same problem with all Pci-isdn cards? Is solution to get ISA isdn card? Is isa slower than pci? thanks!!! -Juha-

I just installed SP1 to my win2k, after that when I try to play CS I have this error: WARNING: UDP_opensocket: socket: NO ERRORNET ports: server 27015, client 27005 could not get TCP/IP address, TCP/IP disabled reason :WSAENOTSOCK could not get IPX address, IPX disabled reason :WSAENOTSOCK "model" is "" connecting 194.251.249.196:27015 the server requires that you be validated through WON.net could not obtain 'wON authentication. My internet connection works great, but CS not. Can anyone help me please?

I only get error message: "The update has been canceled. No qualified Adaptec produtct can be detected". Previous updates has worked with no problems why this not??

How about these new drivers and refresh rate in open gl games? Is there need to modify inf-file before installation to get at least 85hz refresh rate in games?

What is wrong, suddenly my desktop refreshed and all icons lost their 16-bit colors. I have that option on and everything should be ok. But icons are "smuggly". Please help me!!

Winver says that I have build 2195. But in cd there is i386\win9xupg -folder file win9xupg.inf where is: DriverVer=11/30/1999,5.00.2191.1 What this mean, can anyone tell me??

Change them in explorer for hidden -folders.

Has anyone been able to get the Well USB to work with Win 2K. I know that there is no drivers from Well just yet, but maybe someone has found a way to get modem work win2K.

They are in C-disk's root. Do you have them? I should have final version 5.00.2195. Is this final???

I have problem with this software. I can't format in explorer, it says that zip drive is in use or something like that. Only place where I can format is my computer.

I had same problem, now I log in everytime as Administrator and evertyhing installs great (at first I have account with administrator rights but it didin-t work)

Does USB devices work ok after hibernate? For example I have USB-modem Well and after normal boot there is power on in modem (light is on), but after hibernate there is no power-light. I can't test it more because there is no drivers yet :-(
