mine does that too! i calculated it, and its every 3 days mine reboots at a random time and gues which mobo i have? gigabyte GA5ax! i have the latest bios however F3 so i dunno what to do just applied the AGP Patch see what happens

hi all i have a USR 3com Message Modem EXTERNAL on com2 (NOT a winmodem) well i have 300bytes/sec download speed on all files, and time outs on webpages, and MAJOR lag on IRC i tried win2k drivers, 3com2k drivers and 3com NT4 drivers, also checked baud speeds 115200 for modem AND com2 formatted many times and for 3 hours yesterday it actually was normal speed but after reconnecting back to normal. Windows98SE no probs its working very fast as u can see i can write this, in win2k i wouldnt even be at this page yet. It took me 3 hours to download a 400kb file and i cant take it anymore Please Help Akash

latest bios i am on Fat32 and i cant go back to ntfs simply cause i need the memory these graphics packages take too much no probs in device manager as far as i can see

Hey just want to say Gigabyte GA5aX ali chipset amd 333 i got the same problem with ntdll.dll formatted many times no luck i just formatted yesterday so far so good but not sure system also reboots every 3 days by itself

hey all i hope someone can help me i have a USR 3com 56k Message modem external on com2 serial port speed is at 115200 same as modem modem drivers, i have tried 3 sources, win2k,3com win2k drivers,nt4 drivers of all that failed now the problem is, i can only get 300-400BYTES/s :*( i have formatted 26 ish times and still no luck and its not hardware since it works no problem in win98. Can anyone help? 3com could not figure it out so i hope someone here can thanks all

hi i tried that too but it would always detect the usr one and install that i have the drivers anyway for it, the real 2k ones! i dunno dont worry about it thanks anyway i have gone back to 98

hi again i have a 3com USR message modem and i noticed ever since yesterday (31st march) download speeds were as low as above 200 bytes/s it would start very fast like 9kb then drop a lot. max i have had is 500b/s and as u can tell i am not pleased! port speeds in ctrl panel are at its highest. I have changed phone leads and also drivers. I tried 3 different ISP's but its the same Anyone help? please reply back thanx

hey all again win2k gigabyte ga-5ax motherboard (ali chipset) i am really getting annoyed basically. Hey all can someone direct me to a website for the latest drivers (aspi i think) for a philips CDD 3610 CDRW? i installed the cd i got cdrw utils and adaptec 3.5 and after reboot it stopped at a blue screen each time . so i did that thing where it replaces the new reg with the last back up (last known something) and its fine so if anyone get direct me to something win2k can read i would appreciate it Thanks

hi again ok basically before anyone says my apm IS ticked in power options but now instead of turning the hard disk off and displaying its now safe to turn your computer off... it now it does the memory dump everytime. blue screen reboot lalala that thing anyone help?
