I run windows 2000 and a Stealth III 540 PCI I installed Halflife and attempted to use 800x600 & 640x480 in D3D mode.. However it's terribly choppy. Why is this? The drivers i'm using are the ones Win 2000 installed. Do i need an updated driver or a Patch for the Game? Please help!

Ok.. update =) You must be right man, Its drivers cause when i switched over to software mode it plays fine and ping is normal =) Thanks bud...

Yea.. It seems like my drivers but also.. I do get into the game but My ping is like 1140 =) and i have a cable modem... Wierd
