well i installed the 5.20 drivers but cannot get virtualdub to work with the PCTV. I have read that this is a known problem. any idea how to get around or any other good program like virtualdub which it would work with?

Someone gave me a free unregistered WinXP pro upgrade CD. Is it possible to install from this on a formated drive?

hmm setup file version says :5.1.2600.0 (xpclient.010817-1148) thats different than the version on my friends full WinXP pro

everytime I have it trace and then after reboot I choose optimize when the computer boots up and it says its optimizing it gives me an error about timing out waiting for scheduler to start. any ideas?

I must have misread the tweak. now i get errors everytime I try to run anything. The errors say something about pre-writing error and data is lost.
