Norton Antivirus 2003 pro Norton Antivirus (symantic) corporate 8 Grisoft AVG pro 7 Panda Anivirus Platinum I do not use Outlook I use Mozilla Thunderbird and Pocomail 3.0 just FYI

Im tryiing avast right now. Question will it protect me when i use Mozilla Thunderbird email program or only if I use Outlook or OE?

ok Im trying NAV corp 8, still does not detect virus test emails I send myself but Panda does. I dont like panda though because its a hog and crashes my games when realtime protection is on. NAV corp does not do that. ok any suggestions? Is NAV personal still a big memory hog? help me out here

yeah I have been using NAV Corp 7.6 for a while and np but I uninstalled it and ran Panda platinum and it fould 6 virus files that NAV corp didnt even find. is NAV corp 8.0 much better than 7.6?

Ok I have the firware upgraded to 2.16 latest. Got the latest Rioport software and its running and detecting fine. I transferred like 11 songs to he player and when I check the payer it shows all songs are there but when I go to play them sometimes it will skip 1 song or 3 songs in a row and then play the next one. Any ideas?

nevermind seems that the rioport software is @#$%. just tried riositude it works great.

Dos its a SpeedStream 3060 Internal ADSL pci modem. Never had this problem using the same drivers in winxp so I wonder if its a Sp4 quirk?

only got one gripe so far. when I double click on the shortcut for my dsl connection it tells me there has been a hardware failure with my modem, but if I hit redial it connects fine. Any ideas on that? Also is there something similar to Bootvis for win2k pro?

ok fixed the audio stuttering problem. Well I love win2k pro sp4 so far. I had been running winxp pro sp1 for more than a year but win2k pro sp4 is just as fast or a hair faster on 3dmark. Runs UT2003 much better and smoother than winxp sp1.

Hey guys, ok I took a chance and formatted winXP pro off anf have fresh install of win2k sp4 ( i may dualboot xp also) Now problem im having is that I have the latest driver for my Promise Ultra100TX2 controller card but im getting stuttering in mp3's and also any other sounds. I have the latest drivers for my TB Santa Cruz also. Thx PS I noticed also that I have an "other device" listed in device manager which win2k cannot seem to figure out what it is. Any ideas?
