that might be true (but am not sure), coz i found out also that with the wdm drivers i got worse picture, looked like the reception over cabel tv was worse with wdm, no matter what i have to stick with wdm coz my wfm want work for me. AND i still cant get the sound working damn it! //Silent.

i think that the problems lies in the registry coz when i was unistalling my drivers and apps with the hwclean.exe thing the program wouldnt execute correct but unistalled some things and then crash...i will try unistalling my apps and drivers again with the hwclean.exe.... thanx for the help SHS. //Silent.

SHS: well the wdm drivers helped with the picture but i got no sound now! when i look in the device manageer the sound drivers is there but if i check its propreties it says that no drivers are installed ´for that device????? what the heck? why not? ej? i mean the device is there with no warning icon but it has no drivers installed and no sound is comming from the card....why? //Silent

I got a hauppauge wintv(fm) pci card and when i installed powervcr for the first time it worked fine, then i shut it down and it craches with some strange error msg saying the some process was already runnin', what the heck? so, sinc then i get no sound from line in in powervcr 2, coz the wintv card sends the sound to line in, (i patch it wirh a cable back on the sound card). yeah i can see that, but the strange thing is that it worked prefect for me before and then i had to reinstall my win2k and now is only crap...same goes with my WinTV card...tha hauppauge tv2000 want work again...i think it is very strange that the only line in want work...has to be some solution... //Silent.

well, my ps runs fine, but (there it comes ) when i usualy close photos am working on sometimes, like 20% of all time photoshp just shuts down, without no warning....just like that...so i have to save my docs everytime beforce i try to close some pic in ps,,,just in case.. //Silent

lars, are those 2 files very large in size? and do you have alot of free space on that drive you are defragmenting, coz to defragment all files you have to have atleast 20% free space on that drive and the largest file must have space to recopy itself on that same partiotion. got that? and yeah, check if those 2 files are not system files. /Silent.

Ok, here is the deal: I have winamp playing in the background. I start a game, ex Viper Racing, winamp hangs, i start internet explorer, winamp hangs, i start outlook express, winamp hangs, i start dreamweaver winamp hangs, what the fûck is going on man? its a fresh install of win2k pro with all working drivers i had before, sblive card is not sharing irq it has 19 for it self. winamp 2.72 but doesnt matter coz i have same problem with all other version also, it doesnt happen all the time but once it starts it wont stop! well i dont have that much hard driver..only 3...one 27.3 ATA66,one 60Gb ATA100 and one 46Gb ATA100....thats all...i was to lasy to write them down.. check this guys, it get even better, i have winamp playing in the background and i connect to the internet, icq starts and winamp HANGS again! but thats not all, the whole dial up part gets wicked! icq cant connect to the server and i cant surf the internet, cant conect to any server, i have to reboot my computer to use the internet again. what the hell...anyone? //Silent.

JD: whell, just becoz you could NOT resist to say what you said i'll answer your question...YES i do know how to run my computer and for the second part, I test alot of different software and configuration on my computer which is also a DUAL machine, so it is very often i **** it up...then i reinstall...and i get to be one of those who has to much hardware on a tiny mobo that has alot of problems with win2k when you make the wrong move!..so out of my point of view, am damn sure can run my or anybody elses computer........you just cant get of ppl case JD right?...i mean...i could almost predict you where going to say something like that! ...no offence, but it was kind of funny! just saw the news, new detonator 6.XX drivers are out, and there are also detonator 7.XX drivers out there, i run the 7.XX drivers coz i did heard they are more DX8 compatible. But what is your expirience with the 6 against 7 drivers? which one run faster for you? //Silent...
