hmm...why does premiere stop capturing after the file has 4 Gb?? and after i captured 2 files x4gb everytime my capture movie gets over 290-300 sec the premiere says it cant open the captured video and my capture gets screwed....is it a compabitity question or what? hmmm....how big is the difference between AMD and INTEL in performance? like 1% or 2% or even 3% at most...well geeeeee...what a fu@cking difference...**** i gotta get my self a AMD so i can get cheap on my @ss and MAYBE get it working. What the heck is this **** all about? war between Intel and AMD?? i mean you cant come to me and tell me right in the eyes that AMD is a good cpu...you know and i know that AMD has ALWAYS HAD PROBLEMS!! and i mean always...i got at least 16 buddies that run amd and 4 of those had LUCK and got their machines to work prefectly, thats good coz if you whant something cheap and fast go for AMD but know this, there is a 70% risk that your AMD machine WILL NOT FUNCTION! and if you buy intel you will have to pay more but will have a 100% WORKING MACHINE!...thats just the way it is. There are to many ppl today having problem with their AMD to say that AMD rocks.....it just doesnt...yet... /Silent

well, after i installed a clean win2k pro install i checked in the panel and it was not there. so i dont have hibernate from the beggining. and yes i use the ACPI configuration. so i dont have a clue where the hibernate thing went.....anyone?

Simple problem that suck very very much! I downloaded Guillemots drivers for the Force Feedback racing wheel and when i install them i get a message that says: Windows - Unable to load device driver \systemroot\system32\drivers\imhidusb.sys device driver could not be loaded. error status was 0x0000034.....what the **** is that suppose to mean? the funny thing is i had this driver installed 1 week ago and the wheel worked perfect....now i reinstalled win2k pro with everything as before...nope this time is does not work.....WHY? well, am not sure what to say but i think that raid is pretty much something that like 90% of users at home dont need. with ATA100 you got all the speed you need for the time beeing. I think that raid is still something that is to be used on high end servers and users that really need fast HD trffic. so...the usual user should be very much satified with ATA100......i am if nothing else.. :=) //Silent

it has to do with directdraw as you maybe already found out. Am not sure if there is a soulution you yours problems but youll sure have to wait for newer display drivers and directX 8....then maybe the problem will dissapier... :=)

Hi, i got a Hauppauge WinTV PCI and i got severe drawing problems. When ever i resize the windows more than one certan point i get ugly stripes all over the picture, same goes when i go fullscreen.... if i disable directDRAW the problem dissapiers but everything gets slow and sound doesnt match the picture. I did reinstall everything and it does not help. I did get it work once when i disabled the CPU to PCI buffer setting in bios but after same time it just started ****ting again! //Silent

thats pretty strange...coz the card workd prefect in the begging when i installed win2k...but after some time...i dont have a clue what i did...i didnt do nothing...it just stoped working in games....its just games...i mean...i can use direct sound in winamp and it workd prefect...but when a game uses the driver...damn...the sound goes nuts....i dont understand creative.. /Silent-IQ

After i installed my wintv2000 software for the second time this time using the WDM drivers the picture moved a little to the right and the reciveing is terrible, anyone know why? before i was using the drivers that were shipped with the CD VFM drivers and it workerd just fine...but this time i could not install them...dont have a clue why...do you? /Silent-IQ
