70MB!!! bummer.. Do you know if the midi side of things are sorted. With the dell drivers on my machine, if i give any midi input then my machine just locks.. Whats in it to give it a 70mb size, there must be non win2k stuff padding it out that can be stripped?? Cheers for uping it, need to find somewhere that can host it that supports resuming?

So it looks from u people that the Vodoo3 takes the biscuit?? Ive seen a 3dfx3 2000 at www.insight.com/uk for about 48 quid and the 3000 is about 80 is it really worth the difference do u think?? I know someone mentioned the overclocking potential but ive never really seen a massive increase in speed when overclocking - i know lets start an overclocking debate!! Cheers for all your replies and if u can suggest a cheaper place for the 3dfx3 card in the uk then shout ahead!! P.S anyone wanna buy a G100 and a 3dfx2 card - they work great in win2k....

is the vodoo3 more of the same and will i actually see that much improvement?? does my processor mean every card will be bad?

Ive just upgraded to win2k only to find that my 3dfx2 card wont work properly.... Im looking to change this card to a new 3d/2d card as it seems that a lot has happened since 3dfx2 was the don! I currently have a PII 350 abit BH6 128MB SBLive Matrox g100 2d card Im looking to change the 3dfx2 and g100 for a 3d/2d card maybe with dvd hardware support? Ive seen the S3 Savage 2000 around and it seems good although the geforce also seems good as it is fast irrespective of the processor speed. Im not looking for the fastest card but one that gives the best performance to cost ratio as im a poorper at the moment! Thanks people

i cant see the outcome?? ive tried to delete all the files the mentioned apart from the two which are undeletable, maybe that will work... BUT when i tried to reinstall the card it asked for the emu*f.sys file and i dont have it on my computer now... Ive managed to install the pack from dell but similar to the other person the mixer and audiohq dont run and just sit in my task manager listing... Its a bummer iver bought this sblive card and havent even had it running yet!

emu10k1f.sys seems to blue screen my computer on win2k ive installed the dell drivers for liveware and used the nt4 driver pack from the sblive site, but i cant extract the drivers to use them and cant find a good version of the before mentioned file!! Please help people!! Luke Hodge

Does anyone own the midiman dman 2044 sound card?? Im trying to run it in win2k and it does work... Its trying to install itself as another soundcard and does work, ive tried the nt4 and win98 drivers and they dont work. The company has said that they may release in 3-4 months!! Please help!!
