Use Powerstrip. It works for me with MatroxG400DH Max and s3 savage4. Version 3.0 was just released a couple days ago.
-
If you are in Win98 you could try using Winzip to unpack the service pack. I did and my slipstream CD works.
-
I have system works 2001. It's not ready for prime time. If you haven't had the nightmare of trying to use it with dual cpu then you don't even know what evil lies beneath. The readouts are inaccurate, the system tray is totally inconsistent and sweep is unusable.
-
Guess what. I know why it didn't work. It doesn't like to make iso's of audio cd's. I used a data cd and it worked.
-
O.k. I am using Win2k. I have a shortcut to WinImage. I see the benefits and I agree, but I am trying to figure out how to make it create the iso when I tell it where to save it.
-
Sorry I'm a retard. NT support was added in version 3. 9x support was added in version 5. So then it works on 2k????
-
Here at the WinImage page: http://www.winimage.com/winimage.htm It says: "The CD-ROM ISO image creation option is now compatible with Windows 95/98." Now what? We're NT users.
-
Me too. Most progams always seem to have their own image format so you have to use the same program to burn it.

boot floppies from partition magic 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 will work on 2k server. 6 will not not not. You can't install 5 or 6 because of the reasons you've found out. Powerquest was not able to make version 5 incompatible because it came out before the 2k OS's. See how they had to build in the incompatibility. They just want to sell you the same product for ten times the price if you have server. Beleive this because I have done this on a domain controller I am running right now.

I got that. Are you using s370 adapters with your CPU's? Can you run your mobo with one CPU and see if it goes away in Win2k. Do you have plextor manager 1.06 or higher installed? I've had all these problems in Win2k. If you uninstall Plextor manager or remove your PX-40TS something might change. Check all these and let me know what you find. -
How do I make a bootable Windows 2000 Pro #upgrade# CD?

Well I don't have a .tst file on my upgrade CD. That could be it. Where does it come from. Do I need to get one from a full version CD? -

Did you do it with an upgrade? I forgot to mention that the upgrade CD's I made did boot, but they wanted me to insert a WINDOWS 2000 SP1 CD while installing. Remember, I did succeed with full version CD's. -

Been there. Done that. I got it to work on an OEM full CD but can't do it on an upgrade CD. -
Or is there a hack that will allow me to use a full CD with the key from my upgrade. It would be nice since it is my legal registered copy.
