Hey this is Unkoon2000 again, is there ANY way to get the Lexmark 1100 to work with windows 2000? Or is it hopeless and i have to buy a whole new printer? Is lexmark planning to make drivers or are they too lazy? Thank you!

Well, I'm getting a iNTEL Pentium Celeron "Coppermine 128" running at 600mhz. But I have a 466 mhz overclocked at 525mhz right now. You can overclock the 600mhz to 945mhz though. And I'll get SSE-instructions built into the processor. I don't know if it's worth it. It's around $120, but you have to include a expensive heatsink and fan, and a FC-PGA adapter. It equals around $160.. Do you people think it's good?

I'm sharing a printer in windows 98, which is a lexmark 3200 inkjet. How do you get it to print on on other computers with windows 2000 and 98? It doesn't work. Its says could not connect to printer! Please Reply!

This is Unkoon2000 again, I forgot how to make the network browsing from a windows 2000 computer to a windows 98 faster. When you click on a windows 98 computer on the network, it is very slow when accessing the computers shared items. Can anyone tell me how to fix this???

I am officially going back to windows 98 since windows 2000 is having too many problems with games,hardware,and networking. Until they come out with all the fixes that I require, I'm staying with win 98

I put this message here since more people are in this hardware area. Ok, when i use half-life in win2k over a lan network, i create a game and it starts and then a few seconds later, it kicks me out and says : WSSCONRESET error and and exits to windows. Does anybody know whats wrong??

My Lexmark 3200 series jetprinter is not getting used because of the lack of drivers from lexmark. Does anyone know when the drivers will be out? Or..... it will never come out?\ This sucks!!

I have another machine with Windows 2000 and I tried installing the lexmark 3200 drivers (hacked) and after it installed the driver, it said "Could not add printer because The print subsystem is unavailible. Does anyone know whats wrong?

Actually, Win2000 was working fine for me until I needed my Lexmark 3200, Network, Superdisk Parellel Port and my scanner. Otherwise It would be the perfect OS for everyday gaming and internet. Microsoft should blame Lexmark and Imation for not releasing the drivers on time.

I have a problem with shutting down and restarting my win2000 computer. Does it have to do with my abit be6-2 mobo? It just gets stuck when you shutdown and restarting does the same? Does anybody know whats wrong?

I have a question.....when I try to connect to a server at work from home(i have win2000). So, I use this special software that dials in for me, and it goes through compuserve. It starts dialing and when its done and verifying the password... it says "Cannot Connect, because USERNAME or PASSWORD is incorrect" I have entered the right password and username but it still doesn't work. It works on my win98 machine but not on win2000. Does anybody know whats wrong???

Hi, Your problem has to do with the windows 98 registry. Somebody should reply. I don't know the exact thing to tweak.

Hi, I have a problem with my network and wondering if anyone knows of this problem, ok, when i am on a windows 98 machine in my 4 computer network, and i'm trying to access a windows 2000 computer, it comes up with a screen with the network path //Beakball2000//IPC$ and asking for a password. It has to do with the IPC$ thing. (it shows up in the computer management panel under shared folders. Does anybody know whats wrong?? Thanks
