Does anyone know what differences is betveen 3.81 and 3.84 drivers? I'm having some problems related to 5.14 drivers. 1. I'm having some random lock ups. One lock up in a day or two. 2. Color palette is messed up. Nearly always when I start a game my palette seems to get messed. Switching few time back to desktop usually solves this problem. 3. Sometimes my icons or cursor get messed up.

I was just wondering that are there any W2K users that doesn't have lock ups on nvidia video cards? I have random lock ups (not depending driver versions). These lock ups occurs one in 1-4 days. I didn't have these freezes with my old G200 board or when I used Microsofts drivers for TNT2. Microsofts drivers doesn't support 3D so I can't use them. I'm running on Abit BP6 with two celerons.

If I share my D-drive with read only W98 client says "permision denied" but if I set write / read access to share W98 client will be able to copy files from the shared drive.

Windows 98 user has account on myt Windows 2000 computer. I'm not sharing files from my NTFS partition, only from FAT32. I just can't understand why I must give write access also if I want W98 user to have read access.

I noticed that my Plextor doesn't use DMA-mode any more. I have enabled DMA from secondary IDE channel properties. It worked some time ago, but now it suddenly stopped. Any one got any ideas? I'm not sure if this happened after or before I upgraded Plextor's firmware to 1.07.

Tried to set first DMA of and then reboot and set it on again, but it didn't work. Then I removed secondary IDE channel from Device Manager and let windows to detect it again. Now DMA works again with my Plextor.

My event log is filled with these two messages : The Open Procedure for service "RemoteAccess" in DLL "G:\WINNT\System32\rasctrs.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. I know it's in services but can't figure it out

Have anyone got 3.81 drivers working on dual system? Desktop is working great and no sync loss on mediaplayer, but OpenGL games and screen savers will lock up immediadly my whole system. No BSOD just lock up.

Hi! I just changed my G200 card to Asus TNT2 card. But now in Windows 2000 Mediaplayer goes blank if I try to move it's window when "show windows contents" is turned on. If I turn off Mediaplayers acceleration then it works fine, but it's so slow that I can't use it. I have tried Nvidias 3.78 & Asus newest drivers but the behave exactly same. Windows 2000 own drivers work well but no OpenGL My motherboard is Abit BP6 with 2 celerons.

I found an another workaround for this problem. Just install Nvidias NT4 detonator drivers (3.68 if I remember correctly). These drivers can be found on same page that Nvidias W2K drivers. It fixes also second bug that I had, my Quake 3 crashed my whole computer when I ran it second time on same boot. Althou your not able to set brightness in Q3. At least I couldn't set it. Also some random lock ups have gone away, or I just have had good/bad luck and my computer just haven't crashed.

Has anyone tried older drivers. Drivers that came with Windows 2000 doens't seem to have same problem. I tried ASUS 3.79b drivers and they seem to have same bug (they are probably based on nvidia's 3.78 drivers). I right now quiet busy so I don't have time to test different drivers (Some school work that's allready late So if someone have spare time, please try some older drivers.

I noticed that if I pull of my second processor the problem goes away. So I think the problem is in Nvidias 3.78 drivers. I just hope that Nvidia fixes this problem soon because I don't really like to take my second prosessor off if I want to use Mediaplayer.
