Use clony to detect what kind of protection the CD has and then use the settings it tells you to read the disc using clonecd. Then burn NOTE: 1:1 copies are made only when the disc is read properly and written properly. Depending on what protection it has your burner may not be able to make 1:1 copies. goto www.cdr-info.com and see if your burner can burn 1:1

Do you think the Latency of the Network card and the Highpoint controller could be causing lockups?

Do you think PCI latency would affect anything? SiSoft Sandra reports it as too high for 2 components and it says my ATI All-in-wonder Radeon is "an early version of hardware may contain bugs" the 2 components are a network card and the onboard HPT366 controller It is a BP6 (440BX chipset) DualCelery 366@523 (96Mhz BUS) 128MB PC125 128mb PC133 2 network cards Sb LIve! X-gamer Pioneer 10X DVD Ricoh 8x8x32x ATI All-in-wonder Radeon 32mb DDR The latency of the network card is 128 and the Latency of the HPT366 is 248 They share an IRQ. The Radeon has a PCI latency of 255... <---- Very odd And the PCI to AGP bridge has a PCI latency of 64 All other components are at 32 Could this be causing the random freezing in OpenGL and D3d i'm getting? I used to have the "snap, crackle, pop" with my SB Live! but now with updated drivers (3300a) It doesn't do it anymore...

Set the acceleration thing 2 settings back instead of one...... that should work but you lose everything related to EAX and Hardware accelerated sound....

Doesn't it say you HAVE to have the ORIGINAL win2k SBLive! drivers?? Can someone try them and see what they do??? The Original SBLive! drivers are pure crap. They don't support anything other than 2 speakers and basic sound. No EAX or anything.

I only have 1 harddrive on the ATA/66 onboard controller on it... I might try to use an older HPT366 driver... I heard somewhere that the newest ones didn't work

If I try to clock my CPUs all the way down to regular speed 366/66... then it will give me a blue screen of death and something about the hpt366.sys drivers... I use the newest ones 1.25v I think but I heard somewhere you should use 1.23?? maybe I dunnon wut the hell is going on. do you?

My counterstrike works flawlessly too.. BUT D3D **** doesn't work properly!! It took me a long time to get 3dmark2000 not to lock up and I get like 2226 3dmarks! What the hell?

Oh ya .. one more thing... The only way I could get 3dmark to run was to set all the programs in win2k to run on my 2nd processor and put 3dmark on my first processor and it didn't crash.. hmm..

A large Fan would work?? I'll try under clocking it tommrow IT would suck if that is the issue because I dunt wanna run windows 2000 on a dual 366.

I think I am using the RU BIOS but I updated it a long time ago... I know about the problems and stuff about the BP6 but my BIOS is fine and I have the lastest HPT366 drivers. Right now it crashed when I was watching TV on it and when I clicked on something the entire screen went black... OpenGL appears to work flawlessly but D3D is still the culprit.. IS there any chance it could be a screwed up driver install.. Every thing works fine except it locksup in D3D games after playing 1 - 2 hours and maybe the TV..

ITs the games fault not yours.. It froze on my Voodoo3 too... A new patch came out a little while ago. Got get it.
