I have windows 2000 and DSL so i was wondering if anyone can tell me where i can get a beta copy of Windows Whistler or Windows ME. sorry, but i thing you are out of luck. Nothing seams to work correctly with that in windows 2000. I use to have one, and am selling it now. I cant install windows 2000. i have to put my hardrive in my friends comptuer to do it! it seams that when at the blue setupscreen it says setuping the system or somting, that long wait before it asks about reformating and stuff. my mouse and keyboar flicker on, but nothing happens! i cut the grass and came back and it was still sitting! i think i read that it is the bios but i believei have the newest bios for my biostar m7mka mobo. what is goin on! has anyone had this problem or fixed it! i have posted this post so many times with out any responces, some on please help ahahhahahaahahah!

It is set on auto detect. but what do mean take it of the ata66? i only have 2 ide ports on my mobo, the one is primary and the other is secondary.

Strange.

What? intellimouse explorer is the ultimate mouse for gaming, it has extra side buttons, and you never get a hang with crap on the mouse ball. and using ps2 in quake 3 to make it smoother is not really nesicerrary because you cant tell it is smoother at all, just in windows you can tell.

if you dident know or see, the nvidia 5.14 drivers are on the main page.

do you mean the monitor is refreshing low, like you can see it refreshing?

the only real problem i have seen is that some games eax will not work right, or turn off. but i am upgradeing from my monster mx300 which crapped in w2k so mabey i am just ammune to such crappyness, but anwasy, since i dident totaly uninstall my a3d drivers, i have a3d support in quake 3!

strange, half life ran with mine. the first time i tried it it crashed, but it runs fine now with eax.

I am jealous of stephen having that many computers with geforces in them! and slkh there is a totaly huge difference between 640x480 w/ fsaa and 1280x1024 w/o fsaa, the higher resolution looks alot better, and you see more on the screen. fsaa is not all that i thought it would be, it is kinda crappy, not blury on edges enough.

i may try taking out the pci cards. but i believe i allready tried that once. i dont think the hardrive is fualuty because i just got it, and it seams to work ok. but i do know that nothing runs under udma mode. if i put an item on udma, windows freeses on the white startup screen. i am wondering if the bios is changing it to run in udma mode or something even thou i turn it off. i tried to update the bios once before, but the new bios i got said it was the same version, and wouldent let me right over it. this is driving me crazy, i should mabey just try and trade my mobo on board.3dfiles.com

go to yoru start menu and then go to accessories then go to system tools then to system information and then click on the system summary folder in there and it will tell you the version

led, that does sound logical what you are talking about, but i had allready tried it before your post. it does nothing.

ok, i got a new geforce, i took out my old one becasue the fan broke, i replaced it with a new one. and when i did that, it setup the drivers for it (5.13). i had just downloaded the drivers and put them in a folder. when it was installing them, it appeared to copy them over, but gave me an error saying that files were not found! i dont under stand! it worked for my old card, winfast geforce ddr, and my new one is a guellmot ddr dvi. what is going on here! has this happened to anyone else? with any other drivers besides from just video cards? even stranger, the card actualy works now but has a ! after it. i was able to run quake 3 but when i restart the computer, ther card is gone, and needs reinstalled. and in system properties thingy, it says that there is no information for my card. And holy crap! i unpluged my intellimouse explorer from my usbport, put it back in, it setup and asked for a file, i clicked on that file. but then it sayd that file not found for it! ahahha what is going on!
