The Radeon 64 rocks in win2K. You guys must have some install or driver conflicts. DVD playback and all games run awesome, in 3DMark2001 I score 4300. I am running 3116 Ati drivers with no problems in win2k and the 3063 in WinME. Go to www.rage3d.com and you can get some help instead of product bashing. Ned

Buy a Radeon and Smile, besides you won't have to buy glasses to fix 2D blurr any-more. I have had mine running in W2k since its release, been through driver updates and motherboard changes-all has worked great. In fact when I ordered my card the local Computer shop warned me. After looking at my system they brought in ATi and now there are hundreds of happy ATi people here. Ned

When I restart W2K windows says DEVLDR.exe is not responding, and I have to end task, and sometimes my box shuts down and sometimes it doesnt, when it does it takes about 3 minutes. TIA Ned

Paying for good Memory now saves you paying for data corruption and system loss later, what you pay for makes a big difference in memory. Ned

Well if you can write the program for my Polaroid PDC700 digital camera and figure the code for my RealFlight G2 'real mode' LPT port Futaba T8UHF transmitter interface I will gladly leave ME far behind, but something tells me your post is simply written to add some useless propaganda so the thread can develope into several pages of heated nonsense, at least thats my understanding of the posts you seem to write Ned [This message has been edited by Kyosho46vr (edited 11 January 2001).]

Well I have WinME fully loaded and all my apps running. Its clunky and doesn't multi-task worth beans. So then it dawned on me! Why not dual boot, wow, loaded a clean install on Win2000 and loaded all the apps for the DLLs and away I went and all is good now! Ned

Well this week-end was the last straw, My girlfriend bought me a Flight Sim for my RC Helicopter but the LPT interface for my Futaba radio upon reboot took my system down, INVALID TIMESTAMP in NTOSKRNL.EXE............ nothing would fix it, repair, couldn't get into safe mode, reloaded 2 and same mess. So I call the Sim's tech support and they acknowledge the problem and say I am 1 of 6000 unhappy consumers trying to use there Win2000 compatible Sim........so being the Flight Sim eas 229.00, I have elected to run ME and I must say I really miss Win2000. Really Bummed.............Ned
