    I'm searching for a soundcard to replace my sblive because of the lack of good driver support. Guillemot (www.guillemot.com) is offering two products which might be interesting: Maxi Sound Muse based on CMI-8738 (reference drivers available at http://www.cmedia.com.tw) Maxi Sound Fortissimo based on YMF744 (reference drivers avialable at http://www.yamaha.com/lsi/index.htm) Does anybody have any experience in using these cards in win2k smp systems?

    Thanks wallaby and simonroockley! I installed w2k on bios qq, then flashed to latest bios, then reinstalled usb controller, but that didn't work (still code 35). I will try repairing the OS on the newest bios today. Thanks again, GReYHouND.
