The iiyama is a nice monitor I play games on it if I can I like to play at 1280x1024 but Windows 2000 drivers are not as fast as Windows 98 at this resolution you dont get as many FPS I have to drop back to 1024x768 the graphics on these monitors are hard to beat in my opinion. Halflife I can play at 1280x1024 in opengl and the graphics are A1. The best thing about this monitor is that if you play games at 1024x768 the monitor will stretch to full screen so it would look like you were playing at 1280x1024. DVD's are pin sharp This is the second iiyama lcd monitor I have owned in the last three years and to be honest I would not have anything else the 2d is out of this world if you are word proccessing or even sufing the net I would rate my monitor all round 10/10. Regards Badboy.

Why all your cards are sharing the same IRQ's is because you have ACPI enabled. As long as everything is working ok and you have no conflicts best thing is to leave well alone. You can change this by going into device manager and changing computer to standard PC reboot you will also have to disable acpi in the bio's if your bios allows this ! but then you might have to do a bit of card shuffling to get everything running happily together some cards can share IRQ's and some cant it is possible but sometimes best alone !!!

The compatabilty patch works ok I could not run Microsoft photodraw as soon as I opened the program it said photodraw has generated errors as soon as I applied the compatibly 95 layer opens and now works fine so it does work !!! -
Only an idea are you playing the games from the cd ie; you need to have the cd in the drive for the games to run !!!

Iv'e tried the unofficial drivers they work ok the only thing that they do is put back the hardware accleration a notch so eax does not crackle ! Also if you decide to uninstall them and reinstall the official creative drivers on system I lost my windows wave sound on start up and if you empty the recycle bin the system speaker beeps wierd !!!

You have to install the Microsoft compatibility update first and then you need to run the patch for Tombraider III from the Eidos web site it to get it run ! The sound stutters on my system with a Soundblaster live but is still playable.
