A friend of mine is a supervisor for BT. He had a few spare. I needed it because Alcatel support for Linux was poor. This is the model http://www.efficient.com/products/routband.html I flashed it and and got rid of the BT stuff, and now its not a bad little router. Regards Badboy

When you say the other modem do you mean the BT ADSL Router! If yes it works perfect, no software to load and even retains the username and password dont need to connect ether if the routers powered on it's connected it's that simple. I have got mine hooked up to a Intel pro 100 network card nice. Regards Badboy

Just a thought for all those who are having problems with there Geforce 3 and other graphics cards ! This what I have noticed if you run dxdiag DirectX diagnostic tool / Display tab Ignore the first test Direct Draw RUN Test Direct3D First test It will then tell you that this test will use hardware-accelerated DirectX 7 interfaces. ( Funny dont Windows XP have DirectX 8.1 Installed ) Second Test It will then tell you that this test will use hardware-accelerated DirectX 8 interfaces. Has anybody else noticed this Regards Badboy

Is your software Genuine or a backed up copy !!!

The drivers for the Geforce 3 on Windows update are Nvidia 15.20's and everybody can get the drivers. I have been using them for about three days and no problems at all so far. All you have to do is go to WINDOWS UPDATE and then on the box on the right CLICK on the box personilise Windows update this take you to another page then click the box that says display the link to windows catalog this is for administrators to apply the updates at a later date ! Then go back to Windows update and where it says SEE ALSO then click on the THE WINDOWS UPDATE CATALOG this takes you to another page then click on the arrow FIND DRIVER UPDATES for hardware devices ! then click on VIDEO this takes you to another page HARDWARE DRIVERS VIDEO. Then click NVIDIA CORPORATION and then the operating system that you have ie XP Home or XP Pro then click seach this will then bring you to another page with all the new Nvidia drivers choose the GV-gf3000d THIS DRIVER IS DATED 25-10-2001 and then CLICK ADD then you can then download the diver the best place to download it to is the desktop (If you try to save it any where else it told me that the desitination has to been less than 64 letters) when downloaded it will be saved as as a cab file open it and then copy the files to a new folder and call it what ever you like !! then update your Geforce card driver from device manager and your done. I have not bench marked the new drivers but they have the Nivia control as well I hope this is clear for every body to understand. Happy Hunting Regards Badboy

I have a Abit VP6 running duel 1 gigs this board is the best duel board I have owned and I had a few ! I have not tried to overclock the proccessors as it is fast enough but this board is very capable of doing so. Also this is one of the only duel boards I know that can take the retail boxed 1gig fans and they are massive but at least if you want to over clock there is no problem getting large fans on to cool the beast as dosfreak said try vp6-board web site there is a lot of info about overclocking there.
